We had a restful and peaceful stay at Luis’ place in Draper. We used his property as our home base for an 1+ month exploration of the multiple local ski resorts and we were not disappointed. Nestled in the hills near Twin Peaks (Wasatch Range) we loved its elevation (~5800’) as it proved to be a reliable barometer of new snow in the Cottonwood Canyons ski resorts. It has walkable access to multiple trailheads, is about 20 minutes from Lake Utah and is only 30 minutes from SLC. We’ll be back!

We cant say enough about this place. Wonderful price and so comfortable! We have resisted staying in people’s basements and this time was the exception! It was so private. The hot tub was bliss. Tons of amenities to make the place more homey. Decorating was so cute. The beds comfortable. Plenty of pillows. Well stocked kitchen. Even had calgon under the bathroom sink if you wanted a bath and nail polish remover. Cute bag of treats. Tons of movies to stream. Beautiful view of mountains. We will definitely go there again!

This place was in a convenient place for our purposes, with easy access to everything we needed within 25 minutes. For our group, including 3 kids under 5, there was plenty of space for up to 12. We were able to use the kitchen to eat in a number of times, and there were enough dishes and cookware to prepare meals and feed our large group. Parks and pickle ball courts were within an easy walk. Neighbors were friendly. A few things to keep in mind - Off street parking may be a little tough in the evenings, we parked our two cars on the back parking pad and in the garage (standard size vehicle depth). The front room may be a little noisy for some as you do hear some of the street noise with occasional neighborhood traffic. The bunk beds are a bit "squeeky" so put your heavier sleepers in there or ones who don't move a lot at night. Both Johnny and Alyse were great hosts and accommodating and responsive to our asks and needs. Check out was simple.

We (two couples) very much enjoyed another ( third Year) ski vacation at Rose cottage. Nancy is an excellent host and is available but not intrusive. We took advantage of the well appointed kitchen during our stay, cooking several meals. The two spacious living rooms provide the opportunity for separate activities- watch TV in one -while others make use of the available board games or books in the other. If your not skiing or using the hot tub- Just a short walk down the hill is the Jorden River Parkway trail- several miles of paved path with terrific mountain views to enjoy. I Very much recommend staying here.

Great place to stay if you are looking to ski at Sundance. Walkable to the resort for skiing and restaurants. Hot tub and location is beautiful! Can be difficult driving in the winter due to road conditions - we had large trucks with 4 wheel drive and still had challenges getting in and out due to icy conditions, so just be mindful of this! Otherwise great stay and perfect ski resort lodging!
