Excellent place to stay in Playa Chiiquita. Quick, easy walk to the beach access, on a small dead end road, super clean, wonderfully comfortable, nice refreshing pool, beautiful garden, and very responsive host. Highly recommend except for perhaps by doing so it might be hard to get a reservation next time ;)

Wow!! What a spectacular and beautiful home and experience. Agatha was the loveliest host with a beautiful home that she designed herself. The love and care she put into every aspect of this home and experience is 5 star. The views are jaw dropping and the time in the the infinity pool was epic. The home was spotless and very comfortable with an exceptional design. I cannot recommend this home enough! I would say it is probably one of the top homes in the area. We only stopped over for the night, but would definitely stay here longer in the future. It's on a nice little property walking distance to the beach and town.

Chris's place is very comfortable, and conveniently located to the beach and Cahuita downtown. There's a grocery store not far (maybe 15 min driving), and the kitchen is equipped for cooking meals. The beds are comfortable and the outdoor showers are amazing. The yard welcomes all sorts of wildlife as well - birds, agouti, and even a sloth presented itself! I would stay here again.

This was the most perfect stay be had in the Caribbean. I live in CR and had a friend visiting so we showed her the Caribbean side. This Airbnb is right next to a dive shop with tons of tours available. Restaurant with an amazing breakfast right down the road. Walking distance from one of the best beaches ever. Wildlife all around. We saw EVERYTHING! Sloths, monkeys, macaws and all. I will definitely be back. She kept a broom in the Airbnb which helped us sweep up sand during our stay. Ac was ice cold. Hot water was hot! Ice packs to use in the freezer. Ice trays. Delicious coffee. I could go on and on. She was also very responsive accommodating and kind. 100/10

We liked the house very much, the host helped me with all my questions from the day I contacted him and was attentive at all times! The rooms are well equipped, the bathrooms are spacious... I hope to be back!

The place is quiet, just like the photos, it's clean, I really liked it. The host always responds quickly and is super attentive. The place is equipped for cooking. Just as a recommendation, maybe a chair and a table to eat at would be great.

Beautiful place. Perfect for me & two kids in 20s. Very connected to the surrounding nature, sounds of howler monkeys and birds . Clean and refreshing pool with waterfall. As beautiful as pix. Short walk (5-10 minutes) into town, beach and national park . The 2 smaller bedrooms could hear nearby partying late into the night ( but I didn’t) . Could have used more prior advice about pros and cons of getting there ( rental car, Caribe shuttle or plane to Limón ) but Kirsten was very responsive once we were there . Had a blissful time!

We had a blast at Ricky & Lori’s! Ricky was a friendly host! Perfect location in Puerto Viejo, close to all the beaches and restaurants, but tucked away enough to feel like you are in the jungle. Thank you Ricky and Lori!

I enjoyed my stay at Kim's place. She is a great host and lovely to talk to. The location is convenient to Puerto Viejo and Playa Negra. I definitely recommend her place. Pura vida!

Amazing place, amazing location, well thought out, and very welcoming. The wildlife was such an added authentic touch. We enjoyed this home away from home and would absolutely come back to visit!

The place was an amazing experience. we enjoyed sitting in the porch and seeing tucans, hearing howling monkeys, watching different hummingbirds, and just enjoying a piece of heaven. They have fruit trees! Walking distance to beautiful beaches and within a few mins of amazing restaurants, shopping, and coffee shops. Peter and his wife, the host, were very friendly and told us a bit about the area. loved that everything is labeled in the kitchen and it was well equipped. This place made me want to stay in CR permanently!

A large house with an impressive common area. An idyllic place surrounded by nature and with a more than affordable price. Totally recommended. Rosa and Dennis are very flexible and good hosts. We'll be back.

Our first time in Costa Rica and we wanted a private space for a few days before we headed to Jaco. Property was beautiful, spacious and as advertised. Hosts, David and Hector were gracious, informative and kind. Highly recommend property and will use again when we return to CR.

I cannot say enough good things about my husband and I’s stay at this beautiful bungalow! Zvezda was a wonderfully responsive host and prepared us well for check in, and the caretakers of the property welcomed us warmly. We were floored at the gorgeous surroundings when we arrived on the property. While lounging in the pool we were able to watch monkeys, macaws, butterflies, etc. The bungalow itself was also adorable and had everything we needed for our week long stay. If you’re looking for a private stay amidst nature in the Punta Uva/Puerto Viejo area, this is your spot!

We were in the villa at the end of our Costa Rica trip and it exceeded our expectations. The garden is beautifully landscaped and we spent most of our time outside thanks to the great outdoor kitchen and the huge pool. We especially liked the style of the house and also the decor, a great mix of modern and Caribbean flair. Also, the bedrooms and bathrooms were impeccable and had everything you needed for a relaxing stay. Javier as a host welcomed us very warmly and was always available for questions. You can immediately tell that everyone here is passionate about what they do. Anytime again and highly recommended.

We couldn’t have picked a better place for our two night stay. The location is secluded away from the hassle and bustle of Puerto Viejo but close where you can take a Tuk Tuk or bike ride (easy to rent nearby) to the center. Playa Chiquita is the closest beach but you can also visit Cocles and Punta Uva (our fave). The Airbnb has all the amenities you need and the host, Stephanie, was very responsive. We hope to return to this hidden oasis soon!

With Dalma and her husband, 5 stars are actually not enough. The two welcomed us warmly and everything was well prepared (including a homemade welcome drink in the fridge). The cottage is lovingly decorated and is right on the border of the Cahuita National Park. A little dream with wonderful hosts. We give 10 out of 5 stars!

Our stay was amazing! I would definitely stay there again without a doubt. Canzio and Barbara were extremely accommodating and great people overall. Do not hesitate to stay here if you love nature and wildlife—monkeys will visit you—they are really cute and love bananas. The Airbnb is a 10/10. Thank you Canzio and Barbara we will see you again.

The location of the Airbnb is great if you want to be in a quiet place (there is little going on in Punta Uva). The apartment is located directly on the beach (across the street). There are few neighbors who are not always there, everything is Airbnbs. We found the apartment clean, spacious, it had everything we needed. The communication was great, the hosts are very courteous and nice, quick to respond. We would come again!

The place and the service were excellent. Everything was clean and tidy, and it had everything you need to spend the days. My 6-year-old daughter was delighted with the hammocks and the tranquility. Enjoy a real break.

This place is ideal for those who want to be close to the beach, but not in the center of town. In a tiny gated group of 5 houses, surrounded on all sides by dense fauna, this place feels private. Of very new construction, it is comfortable and modern, with a beautiful pool and gorgeous landscaping. Your neighborhood iguanas and Toucans will wake you in the morning:). It isn't on the beach, but a very short walk to the beach. There is also a grocery store, a couple of small restaurants, and a very small resort all in walking distance. The host is responsive and happy to make (good) recommendations. We heartily recommend this place.
