Beachfront vacation rentals in Manuel Antonio

Pura Vida - Great host and location. Walkable to the beach and several restaurants. Calm oasis in the back yard, where we could see Tucans, howler monkeys and an array of birds! Host is very responsive and we also appreciated having air conditioning as well as a washer / dryer. Uvita is a great place to visit with a ton of fun activities, and having the small pool onsite was really nice to escape the hot midday sun. The full kitchen is also a bonus. Modern, easy - with good WiFi and a good host. The howler moneys did wake us up in the morning, but that was actually pretty cool alarm clock - although they sounded like a sick dog!!! We stayed at 3 places, all of which said you’d see moneys, never saw any and we saw them all from the comfort of the shaded porch here.

Beautiful place very close to the beach! Host gave clear instructions for check-in. For a moment the water went out but the co-host quickly solved the problem.

This is a great family rental. We came for a 5 day stay to celebrate my sister's 60th birthday, explore Costa Rica's nature resources and enjoy time as a family. All 6 of us enjoyed our stay and loved the property! The house is quite rustic but well suited for a family who wants to spend a lot of time outdoors. The outdoor kitchen, dining area and BBQ are a wonderful extension of the house. We made most of our meals. The pool was very clean and maintained and included an outdoor shower and foot rinse area. The ocean was wonderful to swim in and the beach very private with few people on it. Andres and Olga made us feel very welcome. He served us with coconuts in the pool on our first afternoon and had area restaurant recommendations for us. We later purchased a large pitcher of coconut water from him that was absolutely delicious. And it was so fun to watch the collection process! In addition, Andres let us know when the spider monkeys came on the property which delighted us!

Casa práctica para ir en familia, buena distribución y una cocina que te invita a usarla... Zona privada, adónde se respira paz y tranquilidad rodeado de arboles y animales. Lo recomiendo al 100% si vas con la mentalidad de conectarse con la naturaleza y descansar. Tomen en cuenta que al estar en una zona boscosa hay mucho insecto, no obstante, es lo normal en la zona. Esperamos regresar el próximo año.

This place was perfect place to stay to explore Manuel Antonio National Park! The accommodations were just as depicted and the view from the deck was breathtaking. It was a great place to relax at the end of a day or first thing in the morning with a cup of coffee. We especially enjoyed the monkeys who came to visit and came right onto the deck. One of our favorite memories from our trip. This location is also within walking distance of several great restaurants, so it was nice to be able to park the car and walk everywhere. If exploring the Manuel Antonio region, this the perfect place to stay!

The view from this villa is incredible. Looking out from the patio, you can see all the way to the ocean. Our concierge, Oscar, was incredibly responsive and kindly worked with us to check in when we arrived later than expected. He also left us some delicious mango and watermelon! The location listed is slightly inaccurate to where the villa actually is, but it still provided easy access to the main Dominical area. Also, definitely bring 4 wheel drive as the hosts suggest, as it's a steep climb to the house. We would definitely rent from this group again!

El lugar es tal cual lo ve uno en las fotografías. La atención de Magda es impecable. Muy atenta. Nos dejó ingresar un poco antes y nos brindó ayuda importante con el comercio local. Gracias Magda!!

We loved this place! It’s way better than the photos! The plants are beautiful! The pool is lovely and deep. We loved the space! Bathroom is great. We liked where it was downtown Dominical. Easily walkable. We highly recommend this spot! (Busy roads don’t bother us.)

Eva’s place is amazing. We wish we have stayed longer. The view is breathtaking. Probably the best airbnb experience so far. I would recommend to try the massage they offer. Eva is probably one of the best hosts, very responsive and friendly. 5/5

The house was perfect. The privacy of the gates was awesome. The beds were comfortable. Sergio had great communication. The air conditioning worked great. The house was fully Equipped with anything you needed to cook with. Definite bonus,It had a washing machine and the place to hang out your clothes. This is not a negative,but there are so many keys! So many doors to get locked out of if you were not careful. There were like 7 or 8 separate keys. We were extremely careful... We figured out a system that would work for us. Check-in and check out Went extremely smooth. On a typical night, One or two crabs would make it in the outside kitchen. No big deal , we just popped them back outside. It's Costa Rica after all, PURA VIDA. One more thing, The location of sergio's place was amazing. This was the Only way to walk to the beach. The beach is very close by the way. Thank you Sergio.

Beautiful home, excellent amenities. Everything you could need was available in the kitchen even though we didn’t cook! We loved the privacy and having the pool for ourselves. The hotel next door was very accommodating. Would stay here again and again!

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in diesem Haus. Es ist ein einfaches Haus, man hat aber alles was man braucht. Die Lage war perfekt für uns, man hat den Strand oft für sich allein und er ist nur ein paar Schritte vom Haus entfernt. Außerdem befindet man sich mitten in der Natur, das heißt man hört und sieht viele Tiere, sowohl Tagsüber als auch in der Nacht. Die Unterkunft ist perfekt für Selbstversorger (ein Auto ist vorteilhaft) und nur weiterzuempfehlen!

We were so grateful to find this oceanfront home. We were an extended family of 8 who needed a lot of space and with the 3 bedrooms, including multiple beds and 2 full baths, it was perfect for our group. The highlight was for sure our own sloth living in a tree in the back yard and the monkeys that traveled our road at sunrise and set. We enjoyed local restaurants and boating excursions and shopping in Quepos. We traveled to local waterfalls and explored the close by rainforest including zip lining in nearby Manuel Antonio. We highly recommend this home and host. Pura Vida!

We had a wonderful stay at Casita Alessandro, the property is beautiful with lots of wildlife and birds! Giovanni was extremely helpful and welcoming. The place was nice and clean, with extra towels if needed! We really enjoyed spending our time outside on the balcony. It is a walkable area, with a few restaurants nearby and a quick walk to the beach (although it is a bit of a hike down). There was some construction in the area, and there is a second Casita being built on the property, but the noise didn't bother us as it wasn't excessive. We would definitely stay here again!

The location of this spot was a magical dream. The beach is a gorgeous, beautiful wide chocolate sand beach that goes forever in both directions. There was a huge shady place to hang hammocks between the house and the beach. We were 5 in total, Abuela (79), two kids (6 & 11) and myself and my husband. We all absolutely loved this home and location and would absolutely return.

If your from a cold climate, make sure to turn the AC on when you get there. It keeps up on hot days only if it starts cold and is on full in the morning. Otherwise, the place was great. Two restaurants right outside. Short stroll to decent beach. Real close to the national park. Raul's helper Josue was super responsive, friendly, and worked at the hotel next door so was steps away. He arranged a great tour of the national park and helped us with discounts for beach activities and food.

We spent 8 days here. the AC was a saviour for this Canadian and the outdoor shower in the moonlight is a must. It had everything we needed. Thank you Guy and team!

Gabriel and Verena were absolutely wonderful! We are so glad for having had the opportunity to get to know them and their sweet little spot. This stay was the height of pura vida. Communication throughout was excellent. Verena reached out with some guide recommendations that worked out very well for us. There was unseasonably heavy rain the day we got there and they reached out to make sure we knew an alternate route so that we wouldn’t get stuck in the mud. Gabriel even biked through the puddles to help us find the way! During the stay, they were the perfect combination of respectful of space but approachable. It was much appreciated that Gabriel went out of his way to connect with our teen. The place was cute and just what we hoped for. The outdoor space had all the basics we needed. The beds were clean and comfy and the AC worked well. We took Gabriel up on the surf lesson and it was a highlight of our trip! Overall, this place is a gem!

Denis's place is just as described. Very private, feels safe, close to everything in Dominical but tucked away in a small residential area. Easy walk to the beach. We kept our surfboards in the locked property without issue. Rented a car for a few days and did not have issues with parking. The bus was very clean, and had everything we needed for basic cooking on two hot plates. Denia and her husband are kind, very responsive and proactive hosts. Would definitely stay again!

It was brilliant to be surrounded by nature 24/7. To be greeted by a turtle on the way back from daily walk to the beach, by birds in the morning and fireflies at night. Mingo, the dog, was definitely a plus in creating the quiet and homely atmosphere we were looking for. The house is not super close to restaurants and supermarkets but it is incredibly well equipped, so we had really a wonderful time. Severine and Marc even got us a grill upon request. The sunset at the beach is gorgeous too. Note that most restaurants close by 9pm and that the access dirt road to the house can get muddy and tricky for urban /non-4x4 cars. That said, this is a great spot for a get away off the beaten track
