Perfect spot for a perfect family weekend. We had everything we needed right down to beach towels, matches and firewood. The sunsets and views are great. Do pack water shoes for the rocky beach and area attractions but most everything else is available at the cottage! Little current, Mindemoya, hiking trails and bridal veil falls were all a short driving distance. Monique was very helpful. Her personal touches for our stay made it that much more special.

The cottage is beautiful - the pictures don't really do it justice. The view of the lake from the windows is breathtaking! It is well furnished, clean and has everything you need for a great stay. Angie and Dale are very responsive and helpful for anything you need. Definitely a great place to stay in a beautiful area!

I stayed at SUNY's three nights in October and had a wonderful vacation. The cottage is so comfortable, organized and welcoming. The view and the grounds are spectacular. Nicholas was accommodating and shared some location recommendations. Hope to visit again!

Steph and Al’s place is exactly what Airbnb should be: a welcoming home away from home. The setting is gorgeous, mattresses and pillows were excellent, kitchen was well stocked, and our hosts were helpful, kind, and responsive. This is our favourite Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. We had an incredible time at this Airbnb. If you’re looking for a relaxing, remote experience, look no further. We enjoyed the hot tub, the comfortable beds and soft linens, beautiful forest for walks, and the fire pit for evening fires. I imagine during the warmer months it’s really nice to enjoy the lake as well which is right across the road. We had a really nice time and would definitely return. Thank you Mike and Meng!

Very Cool place to stay! Has everything you need and some… Host is Top Notch and very responsive if needed. I love how it’s got the rustic cabin feel but with a women’s touch and make you feel right at home. This was a work trip so we didn’t get to enjoy everything this place has to offer. Definitely be back when in the area. 5 Stars all day long!!

Ardissa was an extremely gracious host. She even lent me after-sun when I had a bad sunburn! The bed, room, and house are all cozy and welcoming. The kitchen was clean and fully stocked with pots/pans/utensils for all our cooking needs. The house and local area is extremely peaceful. We had fun walking down the trail on the property, going to the semi-private beach, and even just walking down the road and seeing all sorts of flora & fauna. The nearby town of Kagawong is a sweet town on the water with a great chocolate shop and weekly market. We had an excellent time overall. I would highly recommend staying at Ardissa’s if you are considering travelling to Manitoulin.

Check-in was smooth and the space is nice and big. We loved the outdoor space and it was great to have my parents staying in the other unit hosted by the same person - pottery 2. Parking was easy and it was awesome to be walking distance to the ferry. Our only complaint was the notice we received a couple weeks before arriving that linens would not be included. We received a small refund to make up for it but I’ve advised the host that bare minimum of sheets and blankets for the beds is best for travelers wanting less stress - especially for the fairly high cost of rental per night. I hope our stay was used to help them realize this for future guests. Regardless, we figured it out and had a nice stay. Thank you Amrit!
