Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Mandello del Lario

We spent a really pleasant day surrounded by nature, away from the daily stress. The attic is charming: spacious, well maintained and with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We organized ourselves before going up to do the shopping and bring some leisure games with us, as David had advised us, in the afternoon, we grilled and enjoyed the beautiful day outdoors. It was really a nice relaxing experience. The only small downside is that we were not aware of the presence of a tenant downstairs. Fortunately, it didn't cause any problems during our stay. However, when we were in the garden, we were afraid of disturbing him. However, it was not a problem and the atmosphere remained quiet and pleasant. We'll definitely be back to get away from the daily grind. Thanks David.

We had a fantastic stay with Nicole and Christian. The house is very spacious and easily fit our group. It is designed in a way to feel very private, and you have a nice big balcony in front with a stunning view of the city, the lake, and the mountains across. The footpath to walk to downtown passes right by the house and there is a bus stop nearby, so it’s easily accessible from Locarno. The house was very clean, and we did not hear any traffic from the road. We really enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen, which had everything we needed to make our meals. Nicole and Christian were very responsive, accommodating, and easy to reach. We’d love to stay here again!

The Rustico was exactly as we expected. In a quiet location, with a stunning view of nature. Ideal for relaxing. We especially liked the furnishings very much, we felt right at home. Since we were there for several weeks, we often had contact with Norbert. He was always available immediately and very helpful with his open manner. It is noteworthy that he has even postponed long-planned renovations so that the house is available to us during the desired period. We really appreciate that. We will definitely come back and recommend the Rustico! To get there, there is a description with video, so you can get right to the front door. Our stay at Carla’s was fantastic. The property offers a breathtaking view, with the lake, mountains, and sunsets creating a truly unforgettable backdrop. Experiencing it all from the comfort of the balcony made it even more special. The added amenities like the pool and jacuzzi were a perfect touch—super relaxing and just what we needed.

Very courteous assistance. Questions were always answered on the same day and we felt very comfortable.

If I could give the home (and Silvia) more than five stars I would. As beautiful as the view is in the pictures it doesn’t compare to being there in person. It is spectacularly beautiful. The rooms were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and Silvia was very responsive and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and look forward to visiting again in the future!

Stefano’s apartment was a perfect place to stay in Ascona. It’s on a pedestrian-only street in the old part of town. Check in was easy. The apartment had everything we needed, kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Grocery store just a few minutes walk. Bus stop very close and buses were easy to use. Recommend a day trip to the Valle Verzasca, and a ferry ride to some of the towns in Italy. Stefano answered all my questions before our trip promptly and graciously. This is a wonderful place. If it’s available, you should book it!

Large, very functional and perfectly clean accommodation. Many hikes in the immediate vicinity, lakes can be reached in 10 min by car. Decoration that gives a soul to the home. We had a great stay at Marco's.

The apartment is in a great location, totally in the center. The parking is super organized. Alex always responded very quickly to the messages. The apartment was in perfect condition, perfect. Highly recommended.

This was the perfect place for 2 couples. We wanted peaceful, relaxing and views- this house was perfect. It was too cold to use the pool but we enjoyed the view from the pool. The hottub was clean and felt good on the chilly mornings. Beds were comfy and had all the amenities. The neighborhood kitty cat was so sweet and visited us every evening. You do need a car to get around which we had. Cant wait to go back!!

We had a lovely stay at Andrea’s property! His home was perfectly set up with all of the amenities you could need & was located in a lovely little Italian town providing a ‘local’ experience. You’ll definitely need a car to get to the beautiful surrounding places! Andrea and his team were so kind and great to communicate with. We absolutely loved our stay in this gorgeous apartment, we really enjoyed the private terrace and outdoor seating areas. The location is ideal for walking into the centre of the village or for taking ferries around the lake, and with a car was ideal for driving up into the hills. We particularly appreciated the more traditional decor which added to the character of the house and made our stay feel authentic. Thank you so much Roxana and family, we hope to visit again.

The house had excellent views, well furnished, good amenities( in kitchendidn't make use of the kitchen) and easy commute from Como and Bellagio. highly recommend the place

Loved our stay in Menaggio! The house was great and we felt right at home. It was clean, tidy, and the owner was very quick to respond to messages and sent the house manager within 20 minutes to help with something. After seeing the different towns in Lake Como, Menaggio was 100% the best to stay in. The town is so cute and felt a bit more spacious with less tourists compared to the others. A good amount of delicious restaurant options and a quick walk to the ferry. The house was exactly what we needed and the pictures do a good job showing what it is like. It is up on a hill with a convenient walking path to the town. Down to town was an easy 5 minutes, getting back to the house was a true uphill but only took 8 minutes and we really enjoyed the walk back after dinner. The views of the lake/town from the house and on the walk are breathtaking. We also had a car that we parked near the house easily with their parking pass.

Angela's place was very clean and modern with a beautiful view. Angela was very responsive, particularly around local travel tips. The location was a bit of a walk to town (not unanticipated), Angela showed us a short cut and also provided a number of Taxi contacts, who were very responsive.

This house is really great value for money, and it's the most "homey" one we've ever stayed in so many Airbnbs! The host is very kind and welcoming, not only personally helping us with our luggage, but also preparing a lot of food for us, even homemade cakes, making people feel full of warmth and affection.Such thoughtful hospitality made us feel truly welcome as soon as we arrived. Although the road to get there was a little more difficult, and the garage was a little bit of a pity because our car was too high to enter, but fortunately, it was easy to find free parking nearby, which was no problem for us at all. The house is very clean and welcoming. We stayed for a total of 7 days, and the host even arranged a mid-stay cleaning during the period. The service was very thoughtful and made people feel very considerate. This stay was really great, we believe we'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!Whether it's the house itself, the host's enthusiasm, or the overall atmosphere, it makes people feel comfortable and at ease, and it's highly recommended to everyone!

Pure relaxation - our stay at Villa Maymagon made us forget everyday life. We particularly enjoyed the garden with the direct lake access. We had our sup board with us and were able to take fantastic rides on the lake. The house is large and stocked with everything you could need. Cristina, Paola's mother, welcomed us warmly and provided herself with delicacies again and again during our week there. Paola's brother Philip took over the communication beforehand; he always responded super quickly and was very friendly.
