We had a lovely time at Elisa's in a "mountain village" on the east side of Lake Como! It was very pleasant and convenient that we could have a delicious breakfast and eat next door!

Beautiful apartment near the beach . Very walkable to restaurants and the beach. Quiet neighborhood. Loved the back patio and the views of the lake and mountains are beautiful. Our group consisted of two adults and three young kids.

We had a very great time, was probably my favorite Airbnb that I stayed at so far.

The “Hydrangea Villa” at the very top of Villa Monti was a dream to stay in. The views were outstanding and all the windows open to hear the birds singing and allow cool breezes to flow thru (there is an excellent A/C system in this upper space as well). The downstairs bedroom & bath was just as clean, but not as cool as the “tower”. Communication pre-arrival was prompt and the onsite manager “MG” is friendly, attentive, knows Varenna well and gave us great suggestions for dinners & hikes ( do not miss hiking to the cemetery, waterfall and castle)! He carried our ( heavy!) bags up the 99 steps to our room- thank you MG!! The pool, although small was very refreshing and the area around it so pleasant to sit and gaze over Lake Como while drinking wine. I would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend Villa Monti to anyone traveling to beautiful Varenna.

We loved our stay in Mandello. It was much quieter than the big Lake Como towns, but a great base to explore the area. The property was clean and comfortable, and midway between the lake and town. Elisabetta (co-host) was lovely, and met us on arrival. She was in contact throughout our stay and advised of market dates, good restaurants etc.

This was one of our favorite apartments yet. Magical!! Pros: the view was stunning. We are active and fit so we didn't mind the steep 10 minute walk up from town to the house. We took advantage of the outdoor table for dining and drinks. We took a half day off from taking the bus to other towns to sightsee, just to relax on the sun loungers in the private side yard. Cons: The listing indicated that cooking basics like olive oil and ground pepper would be there, but they were not. My daughter and I cook at least a few full meals at every Airbnb so this what frustrating for us, especially as we had already been to the grocery store and were starting to cook when we noticed:( Note: We did alert the host about the olive oil but he did not opt to provide us with any. Stefano was wonderful in every other way so this surprised us.

We had a lovely time- With a beautiful view, which was worth the sweat up and down the stairs. Kathi's guidebook is so helpful and we had the best Lake Como swim just a few steps away! We managed to still work remotely, the WIFI was stable enough for video calls, and the apartment is equipped with everything you need for a 5 star stay! If Daisy had an elevator & AC I would've given her 10 stars!

A Hidden Gem on Lake Como – Unforgettable Stay at La Cava, Pognana Lario We spent 4 nights at La Cava in Pognana Lario, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. This unique property, seemingly built around the 1960s, is unlike anything we've seen before. But the absolute highlight of the stay was the breathtaking view of Lake Como—an unbeatable panorama that alone is worth the trip. The Best Airbnb I’ve Ever Stayed In – A Magical Experience! If I could give this place 100 stars, I would happily give 101! This Airbnb exceeded all expectations. It was even more beautiful than the photos — absolutely pristine, spotless, and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest details. The location feels like stepping into a fairytale: peaceful, magical, and right on a quiet beach. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a bottle of bubbly and water in the fridge, along with croissants, coffee, and tea. Fresh flowers brightened both the bathroom and living room, adding such a personal, elegant touch. Isa, our host, was incredibly kind and attentive. My friend has allergies to scented products, and Isa immediately removed all air fresheners and even sealed them in a bag before taking them out of the apartment. That level of care and responsiveness truly made our stay feel special. Amazing, wonderful, magical, Tranquilo . Highly recommend it – this place is unforgettable

We had a wonderful week in a nice location with beautiful views. A little further from the lake and therefore wonderfully quiet. The apartment has a nice garden with seats and a large BBQ. The apartment is located in the building where the owner also lives with her family, and another apartment is rented upstairs. So you do have neighbors. Marta did her best to make it a pleasant stay. There were even delicious homemade cookies at the door. Really a 10-star host!

From the moment I arrived, I was entranced by the breathtaking views of the crystal-clear lake surrounded by majestic mountains and charming villages. The accommodations were top-notch, offering comfort and luxury in equal measure. My room had large windows that framed stunning lake views, allowing me to wake up to nature's beauty each morning. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, providing attentive service that made me feel right at home. Their local recommendations for dining and activities were spot on, ensuring I experienced the best of what the area has to offer. Exploring the quaint towns of Bellagio and Varenna was a highlight of my trip. The cobblestone streets, vibrant flowers, and delectable gelato created a perfect backdrop for leisurely strolls. Highly recommend

Elena was amazing. She was very flexible and responsive regarding our arrival and very friendly as well. The BnB has very accessible private parking, and was right on the water with a beautiful view. The location was next to a train station as well if you wanted to visit the other towns in Como!

The apartment is located in a quiet and friendly place. The charming port is easily reachable by foot as well as the train station. There are amenities right next door. Marina and her husband booked us an impeccable and very functional apartment. They were as welcoming as they were responsive.

The place itself is very comfortable and had everything you need. The view of lake Como is stunning and location was great. Easy walk to shops, bus and ferry station. Denis is very proactive and helped us with finding another accommodation due a mix up of dates on our behalf. Would highly recommend to stay at this lovely apartment.

Easily the best Air BnB experience I have ever had. Rosa Katherine is tremendously kind and a true super-host. My wife and I eloped in Bellagio during our time here and Rosa made sure we had all of the necessary accommodations. The place is peaceful and luxurious with breathtaking views better than the pictures. You will definitely want a vehicle - we rented a Vespa from Roberto at Varenna Vespa Rent. It was simple and allowed us to wisp in and out of all the little lake towns and ride into the mountains a bit. The bed is super comfortable and the AC worked great, we had very high temps one day and it kept up fantastically. On top of being an incredible host - Rosa Katherine was genuinely eager to make sure that we were always taken care of with a deep level of hospitality.

Andrea’s place was amazing. He’s an amazing host and his parents are super friendly. Definitely recommend this place!!!

The host Andrea was really very nice and always helpful. He was quick to respond to messages. I can really only recommend it. Varenna is easily accessible by bus/shuttle bus. It was as described in the photos :)

Silvia’s place is perfect for a stay in Como. The location couldn’t be better — it’s walking distance to the train station, the pier, and the bus stop to Menaggio and Bellagio. The apartment is super spacious, really clean, has a super comfy bed, and is fully equipped with everything you need. The washing machine was definitely a big plus. Silvia is incredibly kind and helpful from the very beginning. We totally recommend it — book it without a second thought!

Super helpful and clear communication. The Airbnb is exactly as shown, beautiful view from the balcony. Location is secluded however and hard to reach places unless you have hired a car. So just a tip for future visitors- hire a car :)

Best accommodation in our entire Italy trip. The place was tastefully decorated and Dana obviously took pride in hosting! Her hospitality went above and beyond and the place was very comfortable. Quiet and great place, the apartment was as described in the advertisement. We were 6 adults who had a great week in the apartment with a great view. We rented bikes from @Bike it! Bellagio, very good service here too. Nice to cycle to experience new places, the ferry from Bellagio went to both sides of the lake and was easily accessible 😊

I would give this place ten stars if I could! The view is amazing. The place was just like the pictures and it was nice to have a little kitchenette. Gianluca was so kind and a great host! Definitely would recommend!

Absolutely incredible place. We didn’t want to leave the apartment! The view is probably the best we have ever seen. Mattie and Els are great, the flat was clean. We cooked a couple nights and sat out on the balcony enjoying the view. There’s lots of information which will help. We were able to walk down to the town using their advice through a footpath and also the free bus service is extremely helpful, especially when you’ve had a couple bottles of wine! Would definitely recommend. Thank you Mattie and Els!
