Skipperhuset

🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes located in Farsund municipality. The Skipper House was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we are working to make the house as authentic as possible, including wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. The Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is located wall to wall with the brewery house which has a renovated baker's oven.

Parking inside the garage and in front of the garage door. There is a large terrace facing west, and paving stones around the house again at the entrance. Part of the outdoor area is still under renovation.

Peaceful location by itself in great nature and old cultural landscape. View to forest and water. Here you will also have access to a canoe (3 people). The water has biteable trout and fish dish is of course included in the price. There are several nice swimming areas that can be used.

Cozy, bright annex, very central in Mandal city center. The town's best baker right across the street, and a few meters away, a shop that is open 24/7. The city's cultural center, tourist office, cinema, library, gallery, restaurants, shopping center, public transport, are 2-300 meters away. Walking distance (1 km) to Sjøsanden. Golf course 3 km away. And the Annex is a nice starting point for Kristiansand Zoo, Kunstsilo, Lindesnes Lighthouse.
