Great spot. Quiet and tranquilo. Friendly family who hosts residents and a good community of travelers. The beach is right there, and it is a nice walk into Canoa or an easy bus ride to San Vincente and Bahia.

Matteo and his team went above and beyond to provide a welcoming and exceptional experience. Vistamar is good vibes every step of the way. Traveling alone, I felt right at home in the room and courtyard, and even extended my stay because this team made everything easy and amicable. From the rooms to the food and offered side quests, everything is done with purpose and care. This crew understands hospitality. 10/10 would stay again.

This place is super quiet and serene. The accommodations are simple, clean, and modern. The beach is pristine and a 2 minute walk down the path. I would definitely recommend a visit.

A super quiet place, close to the beach, a beautiful view, I went with my husband to practice paragliding and I was sure to leave all my things in the room with a lot of security and peace of mind. Very good service, very good homemade breakfast, parking and clean place.

David was a great host. He let me borrow a surfboard as there wasn't a place to rent in town. Also had a cool get together at the hotel with some expats and friends living there. I would highly recommend!

Loved the place! In the mornings you can hear the birds there is a lot of nature around the cabin, we would definitely come back. To enter the hotel you have to be very careful on the road because the entrance is on a curve.

Located a stones throw from the point break, this is THE BEST spot in town. Davide is the surf Jesus and an incredible coach, whether you’ve never ever paddled out or want local recommendations for the quieter local spots. Drinks and food are absolutely top notch and we’ve made friends for life! Thank you Geoff, Polette & Mike - we can’t wait to visit again. A+++ accommodations - best in the game. xx G&K

The place is very nice and cozy, a little far from downtown but there are motorcycle taxis that take you to the place

Very nice hotel 20 meters from the beach! Santiago is very welcoming and answered any questions we had and gave us good advice on the activities of the region. We had booked beds in the dormitory and finally Santiago put us in a private room:) everything is very clean, hot water, breakfast with croissants, fruit juice, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh egg and fruit! Recommended +++

If you are coming to surf Montanita, there is no other place to stay. Tons of great boards to rent, Jeff is very knowledgeable about the surf, different surf locations, and the area. You wake up and walk 30 yards from your room and you can be the first to paddle out. The room is great, a/c, hot shower, comfortable bed, beautiful deck with a sitting area. The common area below has a full kitchen, jugs of water, a pool, hot tub, and shower. Hot delicious coffee is served all day. Montanita Brewing Co is attached to the hotel and was the best food we ate in Montanita. Tons of other great restaurants just a walk down the beach. If you want to party in Montanita you are a 15min walk to that. Then when you are finished you return to your quiet oasis at Surf Point.

It is a cozy place in the quietest area of the port to rest, the nights are very comforting, the friendly attention and good food
