We had a great stay at the Oak Cabin! Everything we needed was within easy distance and the place was really well stocked with all the necessities. The hosts were super helpful and gave clear directions to help us out. We are already planning our next trip back!

Absolutely beautiful cabin right on the edge of the forest. The cabin was equipt with everything that you could possibly want from a stay away. Our family of 5 and a pooch felt right at home in the spotlessy clean and well presented lodge. The hot tub was amazing in the day surrounded by wildlife and at night under the stars. We were even lucky enough to see deer from the decking. The trails into the forest are right on your doorstep and the surrounding area is packed with things to do. Kelly was a great host with great communication throughout and there were some lovely touches for us on arrival. We will absolutely be back in the future. One of the best Airbnb stays we've had. outstanding.

Amazing stay in a beautiful location! Such a peaceful place with amazing views, came here for our anniversary and had such a nice time. We was warmly welcomed by the host who told us to give them a shout if we needed anything. We was also given a recommended taxi service that was good value for money and knew exactly where the lodge was situated ! Despite the rainy British weather we had an amazing time enjoying a cosy night in and stopped to do a food shop to cook in the lovely kitchen with everything you could need provided. We enjoyed the Ethanol fire place and shared a glass of wine around it while watching tv. We got into the hot tub, and very kind of them to provide crocs to head out onto the patio in . We found the hot tub was a little bit faulty with low pressure. We really enjoyed the relaxing time at Daisy Lodge and would definitely recommend and return :) The cleaning fee is quite steep at £45 when you are reminded several times to remove the bedding but understandable

We absolutely loved this place from the moment we opened the door. Everything from the meticulously sourced textiles/crockery etc that matched the setting so well to the detail in finish of the cabin etc has been SO well thought out. It was the perfect place to recuperate and relax in nature. We saw so much wildlife- even just from the bedroom window! As soon as we walked in we saw deer just behind the cabin, rabbits, foxes, woodpeckers, red kites…the list goes on. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets a stride away. The icing on the cake was the wood fired tub which was unbelievable! On our last night we had the most peaceful, still and clear night, meaning that we could see the most incredible amount of stars! Cannot recommend this air BnB enough and Trish was the perfect host. A lovely welcome with personal touches, attentive and friendly host. Thanks so much for such a great stay!

We have stayed in many air bnb properties before but this was by far the most beautiful. The pictures don’t do it justice, it’s even more stunning in real life. It’s such a tranquil space and totally private despite being on the same road as the owners. As it is away from main roads, there is no passing traffic and noise is limited to the sheep and birds nearby. The hot tub is a wonderful feature and was great to use even with weather being on the typical British side. The bed linen and fresh towels were obviously freshly washed and smelt divine. We are big coffee drinkers, so were delighted when we found a Nespresso machine in the kitchen - such a lovely touch. We are already planning our next getaway and haven’t even returned home yet! What a fabulous stay!! The cabin is situated in a beautiful spot and is perfectly equipped. Hot tub and facilities were so much fun for our family with 3 small children. Really close to all the local attractions, very much recommended - thank you Maureen & Charlie :)

A compact cabin in a perfect location, with lovely surroundings, good for dogs and all that you need for your stay.

What a beautiful place Bumblebee Lodge is and the surroundings suited it well. We stayed for two nights and it felt like a week it was so relaxed. Loved that we were able to bring our dog and the site is very dog friendly also. Our boys loved the fishing, everyone was really helpful and friendly.

Me and my partner came here for three nights. Marjorie and Tom were very welcoming and friendly people. The cabin was surrounded by beautiful views and also very close to local amenities. Will be coming back 🙂

We enjoyed our stay. We are a family of four and I was initially worried if it would be too cramped but the place was all that we could have hoped for and more. We did bring a sleeping bag which my older one used (instead of sharing the sofa bed with her younger sibling) The cabin is set against the backdrop of a lush green beautiful meadow and it was so peaceful just looking out. The children enjoyed the trampoline and walks around the cabin. The place is close to a motorway but once inside the woodlands we could barely hear the traffic. We also ordered groceries which were delivered to the site (on the slip road) which was super convenient. The walk to the local pubs was refreshing and the written instructions were quite clear. We enjoyed ourselves and looking forward to visiting again.

Stunning cabin in Christmas tree farm. Perfect for my dog as was secured within the perimeter but had the option to explore the field and Christmas trees. Everything needed within cabin. Would stay again.

We just spent the Easter weekend at Stable End with our dog - and wouldn’t change or improve on a thing. Absolutely stunning little cabin - extremely well-equipped. Modern facilities, whilst still maintaining rustic charm. The adjoining kitchen “hut” was a highlight - also extremely well-equipped, and the BBQ and pizza oven were so easy to use. We really enjoyed cooking and eating outside, which would have worked in any kind of weather (although we had really nice weather). The best part of it all was the secure space for our dog to roam. A small, fully-gated paddock, set within a wider, boundaried large meadow. We didn’t even leave the grounds all weekend - it had everything we needed, and our (young, bouncy) dog was also very impressed! Will definitely book again in future.

We loved everything about the cabin, its location, and our stay. It is even better than the pictures - cosy, spotless, and in such a beautiful location, with birch trees, an apple orchard, and a view of fields and distant hills from the outdoor sitting area. It helped that both the sun and apple blossom were out - what a beautiful time of year to stay. We especially enjoyed the starry nights - away from any street lights, and with a fire pit - and the cosy wood burner as the temperature dropped!

We’ve loved our stay at Georgie and Andy’s place. It was exactly what we’d hoped to find, a cabin in peaceful surrounds with full privacy. It’s at the back of their property, surrounded by trees and hedges, next to an orchard with resident sheep. Birdsong in the morning, stars at night. It’s perfect for two and ideal for creatives. We didn’t have a car, so enjoyed the walk into Ross for whatever we needed. We never felt that anything was missing and hope to return again. Thank you for having us, it was wonderful to meet you.

Absolutely loved it. We unfortunately had to work the day of the first night so didn’t check in till late. I notified Trevor and not only was the delay fine he’d even set the log burner for our arrival so it was nice and cosy when we arrived. In the morning when we opened the curtains in the front room we were greeted with sheep only yards away. Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay, we enjoyed the peaceful and tranquil surroundings, the lodge was perfect for us, we loved it, will definitely be going back.

Lovely little cabin. Very clean and cosy. Helpful hosts who greeted us and opened the gate when we got in late at night. Close to several nice restaurants and pubs and villages. Would recommend!

Me and my partner had a fantastic stay here! From the second we arrived we fell in love with how peaceful and private it is! The views are incredible and we loved watching the sheep in the opposite field. Everything inside was perfect, I loved the attention to detail and especially the electric blanket and heated mattress ! We didn’t realise how cold it would get! We went for several walks through the forest and saw a few pheasants too. It’s definitely a place we would love to return too! I cannot express how beautiful it is! Just beware that there is a very steep hill up to the cabin. Definitely scared me when I first saw it!

Stayed the night for my partners birthday, decorations in the bedroom were the perfect touch. Very clean and tidy. Will be back soon :))

Sarah’s place exceeded all expectations. It was absolutely stunning, clean, and incredibly peaceful. It was like a mini retreat for us. Would highly recommend.
