Apartment vacation rentals in Malpais

The place was wonderful and the sunset views were breathtaking. The apartment has everything you need, very comfortable bed and mostly everything you want from a kitchen. They could have changed the inside sofa to a more comfortable one but it worked anyway. There were some major construction going on just in front of the house and we unfortunately got to wake up most of the days with that noise, but since we surfed early mornings it didn’t bother us that much.. There are a lot of construction going on in the whole area so maybe many places have the same problem! The host was very very helpful and we really enjoyed our visit!

Outsite is one of the most beautiful Airbnbs I've stayed in my whole life! I'm Costa Rican but was looking for a more diverse experience while staying in Santa Teresa and this was more than I could have ever imagined! The rooms and spaces were clean, modern, and peaceful, and the community of people who were staying there made the experience magical. If you're looking for a private apartment with access to a great co-working space and like-minded individuals, this is the place. There is also a beautiful area to do yoga if you bring your own mat. Will 100% be back every year!

We booked here because I messed up our arrangements on the other side of the peninsula and needed a night. It was a godsend because the property was chill and the hosts were awesome. Our emphasis was on the other side of the peninsula, so this was like a layover till the next day. I kinda wish we stayed more nights as this is an excellent option for Montezuma and local offerings. The accommodations are as described and met are needs, especially being treated to fresh Papaya from the host. Pablo was great and we gelled immediately due to common interests and his time in California. He's a history buff and well learned. .... The property is at the entrance of Cabo Blanco and only minutes away from Montezuma. What else can you ask for ? I hope to see Pablo and his Mrs. again in the near future. Great stay and my best Airbnb experience.

Very nice complex in a quiet location a little away from the hustle and bustle. The direct beach proximity is perfect, so we were on the beach every evening for sunset in 5 minutes. The hosts responded quickly to problems and they were taken care of promptly. The pool was a great highlight in the warm temperatures. We can definitely recommend the place!

Guillermo’s bungalow is part of a little five house compound. We found it to be very peaceful and convenient for our four day stay. Maybe the pictures do not quite reflect the quality of the house. However, we found it convenient and peaceful. You will hear the howling monkeys and other jungle fauna sounds pretty much throughout the day. It was great pleasure hearing those.

The place is very nice, a gated community, with 24/7 security, grocery store, restaurant and cafe within the complex, the beach and very nice and clean pool, there is no need to leave the complex and if you rent even more fun golf cart. The place is impeccable, very clean, tidy and well equipped, with everything you need to vacation. Very good amenities, in the end, we loved the place and the accommodation, 100% recommended. No doubt you have to go back.

Well, I am one of the first to review this space so I will add a little more than the normal brief review so you know what to expect… lots of pros, no big cons really. As of this writing this place is basically brand new - probably finished in the past few months. There are still manufacturer stickers on things. Completely pristine. Good workmanship. Bathroom is perfect. Bedroom is perfect - bed is a bit firm but a lot of people like that. I slept well. The bedroom is air conditioned and well-sealed to the outside. The “hanging out space” is fully outside - so the kitchen and living area.. so don’t expect air conditioning in that area. That did not bother me but might not work for some groups. It’s really cute and very nice to sit outside and hear the monkeys and watch the world go by. Right next to a bakery. Short walk to restaurants and a medium sized grocery store. Can also walk to the beach - 7-10 minutes. Hosts were very nice and helpful and we used translator app to chat.

An excellent place, the house was beautiful, very spacious. Rolando is an excellent person, very attentive. I definitely recommend it for families and pets.

We absolutely loved our time at Mariposa cottage. The terrace view was amazing and we enjoyed the visitors we had while enjoying our morning coffee. Iguanas, birds, squirrels, and the sound of howler monkeys and cicadas. The cottage has tons of character and artistic flair and the outdoor shower was fantastic! Peter was a great host. Highly recommend Mariposa if you’re looking for something unique with a fabulous view of the ocean in a jungle like setting.

Great apartment with a view of the ocean and passing birds. Walking distance to pools and ocean. We got to see monkeys by the pool. We loved being able to leave the car in the parking to just enjoy the neighbourhood.

Loved our stay at July’s place, it was exactly what our family needed. We travelled with both seniors and teenagers and we all had a great time! The place was beautiful and very comfortable, my kids enjoyed the board and video games and we all enjoyed the pool and how close we were from the beach.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The place was clean and spacious, the a/c worked great, and the views were spectacular. It was exactly as depicted in the photos. The host was very responsive; even checked in to ensure everything was ok.

Great place to stay in Playa Mantas. Playa Blanca is accessible when it’s a low- medium tide through the beach. The place is peaceful and ideal to relax and enjoy swimming. Thank you!
