We had a truly wonderful stay at this lovely home. From the moment we arrived, everything felt so welcoming and comfortable—it really felt like a home away from home. The host and his wife were incredibly kind and thoughtful. We especially enjoyed our chats with the hostess, who gave us a great introduction to the area, including local attractions and some amazing food recommendations. She suggested we try the local salmon, which turned out to be absolutely delicious! The room itself was beautifully decorated, cozy, and full of thoughtful touches. We were especially impressed by the large balcony with its stunning night view—it was the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. One detail that really touched us was the first aid kit in the room, which came in handy during our stay and truly saved the day. The kitchen was another highlight—it was very clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for cooking, which made our stay even more comfortable.

Our stay here was absolutely magical, with breathtaking fjord and mountain views that felt like a dream. The house was cozy, well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, and designed for pure comfort, making it the perfect retreat. The highlight was witnessing the Northern Lights dance right from the windows, no need to chase them, as we had a front-row seat from the warmth of our stay. Every moment here was special, from sipping coffee while admiring the serene landscape to enjoying the peaceful surroundings. On top of that, our host, Knut, was incredibly responsive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Everything was so perfect that leaving felt almost impossible. If you're looking for a scenic, comfortable, and unforgettable experience near Tromsø, this place is truly a gem!

we had a wonderful stay at this apartment! the apartment was clean, fully equipped and the terrace offered a beautiful view from which we were able to see the northern lights. its location was ideal, conveniently close to a supermarket, bus stop and just a short distance from the city center, making it easy to explore the area. the host was attentive and available whenever we had any questions or needed assistance. overall, a fantastic experience, and i highly recommend it!

The Airbnb was the Best experience I had so far. Everything perfect, Henriette even picked up us and drove to the place.

Staying with Ingrid and Eirik was beautiful. We landed late and were still able to check in easily. The apartment is very cozy and we felt right at home. Surroundings is quiet and perfect for relaxing. We either walked or took the bus to the city, a stop is nearby. We would stay with Ingrid and Eirik again at any time:)

My stay at Veronica’s studio was fantastic! The studio was impeccably clean and nicely decorated. The fully-equipped kitchenette allowed me to quip a meal whenever I pleased. Veronica was very responsive and answered all my questions instantly. The apartment is a 15-minute walk from the center of town or a 5-minute bus ride. Supermarket is right around the corner from the apartment building! I highly recommend Veronica’s place.

Very nice and clean accommodation. The landscape is very peaceful. The host is friendly and really very responsive to messages. We didn't miss anything. If we come back to this area we would rent this place again without hesitation!

Amazing cabin in Ringvassøya, as quiet as the arctic countryside but conveniently located 30mins from Tromsø! The house, fully furnished and equipped, is just beautiful, it feels like being on a boat… the sauna in front of the Ocean is an absolute blast! Tina and René have been super reactive and helpful when needed! Couldn’t ask for more! :) hope to see you next time!

Truly an amazing experience at Thomas’s house. It embodies the spirit of a typical, authentic and cozy norwegian hytte with everything you need, add to that the view over the fjords and the sauna in the backyard and you’ll feel like in a Hallmark movie during Christmas. We also saw the Northern Lights from the cabin 2 nights in a row. The communication with the hosts was very easy and efficient. I truly recommend it to anyone loving nature, peace and quiet :)

A comfortable home in an amazing setting. The house is even more beautiful than the photos show, it has a large living room, kitchen on the ground floor and a bathroom and upstairs 4 bedrooms, one with 2 beds. The house was very clean and very comfortable, but the best thing, without a doubt, is the view from all its windows!!! They look like paintings! Beautiful stay, thank you!

Very nice house and everything you need for a stay in Fjordgård. Very clean and tidy house with good facilities to cook. We had a great time and are very happy with our stay.

The house is spacious, very well heated (floor heating in the entrance and very nice bathrooms), with a magnificent view from the balcony (from where you can see the aurora on a clear day!). Everything was very clean and cozy. We were traveling with the whole family with two babies (9 months and 2.5 years), there were beds and high chairs for both. The kitchen is very well equipped, better than expected! The access ramp for cars is slightly sloping, which can be a little slippery in winter but the rental cars on site (4 wheel drive) are quite suitable. There is a convenience store within walking distance (3min) and a car charging point 5min away. Tom is very responsive to all our questions.

We were 8 people staying in Heidi's house for a week, focused on active spending of time (skiing, skitouring, hiking, ...). It was a great time - thank you for that! The good: 1. The house is very spacious, very comfortable with 8 people. 2. The living room is just the best 3. The location of the house is very good, close to city and airport yet in nature. 4. Heidi was super responsive and kind There is some room for improvement: with this price point I would expect the kitchen equipment to be more complete (e.g., we had the feeling that there is not enough knives and they are blunt, pans are cheap and scratched, cork stuff to put hot pots on top missing...), the fireplace came without the fire iron - weird, there were no matches just an not working lighter... Also, the heating system in the house seems to be a bit insufficient: we were using the fireplace all the time - would be cool if wood was supplied. But all this can be improved. All in all we love the satay!

We were very much looking forward to our stay in Norway and the host was always available. We chose to stay in peace and nature with sauna and hot tub. For the use of this, we had to pay extra which is not very clearly stated. For this price, maybe a little more wood provided because you will certainly not be able to use this and since the price is already pricey anyway, if this is unlimited, we find it. The house was clean, spacious and beautiful view. However, a dangerous staircase, especially the hole down when you are upstairs. Children who are playing do not always have this in mind, maybe a fence provided for safety! The fireplace is definitely a plus because we love this coziness. We were able to admire the northern lights 5 of the 6 nights from the terrace. The kitchen equipment may be a little more extensive. We missed a mixer to mix our soup and a colander to shake off the spaghetti.

Simen has more than earned the title of Superhost. He always helped us, was super friendly and gave us great tips on excursions or restaurants. We'll be happy to come back anytime! Thanks for the great time.❤️

Great stay! Check-in was seamless, and the location was excellent—just a short walk to the city center, Main Street, and the cathedral. The room was small but well-equipped and perfect for a short stay. The highlight was spotting the Northern Lights from the rooftop terrace—a fantastic bonus! Would definitely recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and incredibly warm (which was perfect for the season). The view was absolutely breathtaking; waking up to it every morning was a highlight of my trip. Siv was responsive and welcoming, making sure I had everything I needed. The space was well-maintained and had all the essentials for a comfortable stay. I’d highly recommend this listing to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with a great view. Lovely, well decorated apartment- it’s clear the host takes pride in keeping it clean and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Fully equipped kitchen, good bathroom. The shower in particular had amazing water pressure! Really happy with this stay- would fully recommend as a peaceful stay close to Tromso airport.

This place is and will be fantastic. First of all, seeing Frank was very nice. He immediately makes you feel very welcome. He is hospitable and cheerful. The apartment is very cozy and nicely decorated. Clean, large windows, nice bed, good kitchen essentials and a wood-burning stove outside to light a fire. The views over the coast and the mountains are phenomenal and due to the rapidly changing light, you never get bored. It's a really restful place and it was a valuable ‘coming home’.
