Luxurious apartment with 2 cozy bedrooms, a living room, pretty dining area, bathroom, shower and a well equipped kitchen. Cozy and romantic interior with some unique handmade glass design details. The apartment is a perfect place for a getaway when you want to enjoy Northern Norwegian nature and relax by breath-taking beautiful views. There is also a BBQ house on the property for the guests to use. That's a nice bonus during dark cold nights when waiting for the Northern Lights!
“Beautiful glass arts of Tove's can be spotted in different corners of the accommodation. The place is super cosy and I really love the huge bathroom with heated tiles! Tove, Ronald and Julia are lovely hosts! Julia texted me when she saw that the sky was clear and informed us that there might be a chance of seeing Northern Lights. And yes, we managed to see Northern Lights in their garden! The waffles in their cafe were so yummy that we ordered another one after finishing the first one within minutes. Well equipped kitchen and the place is sparkling clean. Definitely recommended.”
Cosy cabin by the sea. Located in a calm area containing family cabins. A perfect area for watching the Northern lights with no distraction from cars and neighbours. Only peace and quiet. You can drive your car right up to the cabin where you can easily park. In the winter i recommend a 4wd car because of a steep road
“Wonderful place to stay in a quiet area far away from mass tourism. The cabin is beautiful and you will find there everything you need and even more. The communication with Karine was always fast and very helpful. She even warned us of a storm one evening and gives good tips.”
Best view in Malangen? This cabin is located in scenic surroundings in Mestervik. Midnightsun in the summer and northern light in the winter. Here you can relax and just enjoy the unique view, hill climbing, fishing, bicycling, skiing etc Its just 60 minutes drive from Tromsø Airport
“We stayed a John and Trine’s place during a very stressful time for the whole world, the Coronavirus Pandemic. Norway pretty much shut down during this time. We were unable to do any of our excursions and had to stay in the cabin the whole time. Which was a blessing in disguise. Being in northern Norway was like being in a winter wonderland. The views from the cabin were breathtaking. Every time you looked out the window you were amazed with the beauty that surrounded you. John and Trine made sure we were fully aware of what was happening in the news with the Coronavirus and travel updates. There was a chance we were going to have to stay for an extended period of time since air travel was being suspended. John and Trine let us know that we had a place to stay if it ever came to that. Being that this was a new country for us, it was comforting to know someone was looking out for us. We are extremely grateful for John and Trine’s hospitality. We cannot thank them enough for everything they did to help us during this chaotic time. They are very special people. We hope one day to go back so we can get the full Norwegian experience.”
