Vacation rentals in Makry Gialos

We had a wonderful time at Ioannis's place. Highlighted is the direct beach location of the apartment. Restaurants and everything you need is in walking distance. The apartment was well appointed and very clean. We felt very comfortable. You can discover and do a lot in the area. Makrygialos is quite adorable and original. We would love to come back!

The host was incredibly kind. The house was extremely well-equipped, the outdoor space was enjoyable, and the house had a stunning view. We are deeply grateful for the host's warm hospitality. They generously gifted us with traditional Easter sweets, a delightful olive oil, and exquisite local honey. An unforgettable experience!

We stayed at the Erontas Cozy Home for 2 weeks and the most amazing time! Eleftheria was there to welcome us and check us in when we arrived and walked us through the amazingly stocked home - it had everything we needed and more! She also provided us with lots of recommendations for our visit, and was always quick to respond when we had any queries. The home itself was perfect for what we needed - it was spacious yet cozy, peaceful yet not too far from the main road and amenities. It was a minute walk to the beach, and the bakery and mini market was just a very short walk down the hill. Eleftheria provided plenty of fruit, water and other goodies which were all lovely. All the instructions for the apartment (e.g. washing machine and air conditioning) were very clear and helped make the stay even more relaxing. We were sad to leave at the end of our trip and will be looking to stay again soon! Thank you so much Eleftheria!!

We felt completely at home from the first moment. Niki and Kostas welcomed us warmly and cordially. The apartment is located in a house surrounded by flowers and the furnishings are super modern, chic and impeccable. Everything was sparkling clean and was cleaned regularly. Our little daughter and we loved the place and would be happy to come back. In addition, the location is very nice. If you are looking for a relaxing quiet holiday with plenty of opportunities for fantastic beaches, small cafes and taverns, this is the place to be.

We had a wonderful stay at the Seascape Villa! The views are truly stunning and the photos do not do them justice! Maria was an incredible and caring host/ point of contact and was so responsive, providing special tips and recommendations to make our visit enjoyable! She’s happy to help, and even called ahead to restaurants for vegan options for us - thanks! The separate and very private bedrooms with their own entrances are great for sharing the space. Lots of outdoor places to relax and enjoy the view. The secluded rocky beach is breathtaking and absolutely worth the hike down and up - more for the adventurous type but absolutely doable and worth it! So peaceful and gorgeous down at that beach. Sometimes there is some noise from the neighbors and their dogs, cats, and from the road behind the house which is normal/ typical if off a main road and with neighbors - just flagging that although it is private and somewhat secluded it can get noisy at times. 100 percent would return!!

The stay with Maria was the best I have ever had. It exceeded all my expectations that were already high due to the beautiful photos. It was the first time I went on vacation alone after my husband's death. That was quite scary, but because of the stay with Maria, I now dare to face the world again. The place is fantastic: a high Mama Mia level right by the sea and Maria makes it possible to enjoy carefree under your own umbrella on the beach. I already miss the sound of the sea! Furthermore, the studio has everything you need. I was there for 2 weeks and also cooked there myself from time to time, not necessary because there are even in May enough fine and not too expensive restaurants within walking distance. What a difference from the north coast at Heraklion where I stayed a night on the way there and back! Recommended. Will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Katerina’s place, highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a quality holiday home to relax, easily access the beach and explore local area. We felt like home with top-notch amenities, exactly as described and seen in photos. Katerina was very helpful and proactive, going above and beyond to ensure the best hospitality experience for us. Would definitely stay here again.

I love Makrigialos and this beautiful house is in the middle of the town! I will definitely come back.
