Monthly Rentals in Makalawena Beach

We loved our nights stay at Lavender Lane, the pictures are exactly like the accommodations. The neighbor hood is very quiet and safe. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable, cute and a quick drive to the airport. There is a binder with recommendations for restaurants, site seeing, etc & a list of rentals for the beach. She also offers facials, messages & waxing…I definitely would have indulged in a facial if we had stayed more than 1 night. The one and only downside of our stay was no air conditioning. I would highly recommend staying at Lavender Lane when visiting the area.

I arrived late and got a Jeep with little instructions on operation from car rental company which was not Amy’s fault and had trouble with headlight controls and CarPlay hookup with I-Phone which made things difficult for older man traveling by self for first time to Kona. I also failed to use the Airbnb app which Amy used to communicate instructions and phone number so I was remiss in proper technology usage not Amy’s fault.

We had a comfortable and convenient stay in Kailua Kona. The property is tidy and had everything we needed for our quick big island trip before heading back to the mainland.

Great value! Beautiful view. Good location close to the airport, beaches, and Kona. The spot is very cozy. Small and perfect for two people. The shower is really nice. It’s not very private and didn’t matter because the people we interacted with all seemed very friendly. Would definitely recommend. Mahalo nui loa!
