Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Mae Rim District

Beautiful house, in a splendid area. Immensely quiet. About 25-30 minutes from the center of town (by scooter). Hosts who are generous and very responsive in our communications. The only downside in my opinion: the pool and hot tub would benefit from being heated (maybe it's not common in Thailand). But otherwise, really, a splendid 4 bedroom property, well divided, to recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful place.

The house is very big with 2 bedrooms Suitable for a family. The location is a bit rural and definitely requires a car to access but it also meant its very private with a large view of the garden. Very peaceful and worth the stay!

The villa accommodated our party of 11 well. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The pool was clean and very refreshing to swim in. The entertainment room was good for gathering and hanging out. We had the whole villa to ourselves. We really enjoyed our stay, and consider this a 5 out of 5 accommodation for our stay. I do want to point out a couple things to be aware of, for those who may consider it in the future. 1) Water leaks in heavy rain from the window in the far room; it flowed away from the beds toward the bathroom wall, and seemed to dry up quick, so was not a problem for us. 2) The tiny ants get in and can get to the upstairs rooms pretty fast too. Just keep food clean and stored away. 3) The water pressure in the upstairs rooms comes and goes as you shower; it wasn't a big deal, as we were able to shower ok, but just something to be aware of. The five nights I spent at Siratika’s property were easily the most idyllic and restorative of any place I’ve stayed during a decade of pretty heavy travel. The photos in the listing really don’t do it justice at all. The bungalow/villa is much more impressive than in the photos. The same for the interior which, along with being spacious and lightfilled, has a rustic luxury that is just perfect for this kind of accommodation. The surrounding grounds and gardens are nothing short of immaculate. The wraparound porch is massive with several outdoor seating/entertaining areas. The best of these is the sitting area perched on the stone bank of the river stream that flows along one side of the bungalow. The property is a little over thirty minutes from the airport and twenty minutes from the Nimmanhaemin district. The roads are all paved and easy to navigate. The Four Seasons Resort is a couple of km’s away. In between are a variety of small cafes and restaurants. Highly Recommend

Beautiful Villa with great view. Rommanee is a great host and extremely helpful!! We enjoyed our stay very much and wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

The house was nice, clean, the landlord took good care of, was always in touch and answered any questions. Very nice kitchenware.

Nice clean place to stay even for longer. The pool was clean and also the grounds tidy. Covered parking spaces on the property and Grab deliver the food until then. All in all a very nice, quiet and somewhat secluded stay. Rental car highly recommended.

The interior of the house and the pool were just as good as the pictures show. The host was also kind. Also, it was nice to have a park and a market nearby. However, amenities such as restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores are a little far away, so if amenities are important to you, you should consider this part. We recommend it if you have cute dogs and like a quiet place.👍

I’ve been there for almost 2 months and i have to say that the place exceeded my expectations. The room is spacious and the apartment is really nice, apart from few problems that were solved immediately I would advise it for whoever wants to stay far from the crowded environment. The host speaks English very well and was very fast responsive!

A great place to get away from the city, rather without borrowing a scooter, but no worries you can borrow a scooter on site from the host. I highly recommend it.

Did a booking with a friend of mine, Super clean and cozy flat. Felt like home directly. Beds was super comfy - neighborhood was quiet, everything was more then worth the money - keep in mind that’s a bit away from the city so would be good if you have a car or at least a motorcycle - the small market around the walk near 7/11 was super - locals there was very nice and cooked a super delicious food. One of the nicest Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in. It’s cozy, but very clean, comfortable, and meticulously furnished. These hosts could literally teach lessons on how to Airbnb a home. They provided a detailed guide with everything from restaurant recommendations to emergency contact info. The kitchen was small but equipped with things you don’t see in many regional Airbnbs such as a toaster, a gourmet coffee maker, and a generously-stocked snack tray that was replenished twice during our stay. They even had robes in the closet! (I didn’t wear them, but it was nice they were there. 🙂) The location is extremely convenient, in walking distance to probably hundreds of great restaurants and cafes in the Nimman area. We’ve stayed at several places in this area, but none with such amazing mountain views from the balcony and bedroom. We liked it so much, we extended for as long as we could.

Location: The apartment is in a great location. It's just a 5 minute walk to Maya and you don't need to go through the major crossroads so no waiting for traffic lights when going to the Mall. It's very quiet at night and the noise of the planes didn't bother us at all. Apartment: The space was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay. Has basic cooking supplies and utensils etc. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is very powerful. The wi-fi is very fast and stable. There is lots of storage space and the host left us extra bedding and towels as we stayed for a month. There's a washing machine on the balcony and it's easy to get clothes dried as you can pull back the shutters to keep the heat in from the A/C units. The space is much smaller in person compared to how it looks in the photos and, like other reviews said, there is very little natural light, which didn't really bother us as we were out most of the day. Host: Very helpful and quick to reply.

Great place to stay. Incredible sky river pool to enjoy the views of Chiang Mai. Close to the night markets and shops. Lovely apartment with everything you need.

It’s a really nice, clean and modern place! Getting in was super easy and I appreciated the small things such as plenty of towels presented in a beautiful day, as well as the bottles of water and coffee. The pool and gym was also very nice, and there was a private cafe in the entrance of the condo. A great alternative for anyone who needs to stay close to the Shangri-la for a fraction of the price!

The apartment at the Astra Condo was so great. We felt so incredibly comfortable. Check-in was super easy, the apartment was modern, very clean and fully equipped. The location is ideal for quickly reaching everything. Arthit is super kind and communication was always easy and courteous. We would have loved to stay much longer.
