Vacation rentals in Madawaska Valley

Was very comfortable to stay at Thomas's cottage. We stayed with 4 adults and 4 kids in the winter. The sauna was especially nice. The kitchen was well stocked. Everything worked well and communication was great.

Such a gorgeous property and stunning views! The main living area had views from both south and north views of the lake since it is on a point. Stocked with everything we needed. Was a lovely weekend to honour my late uncle with my family. Balsam lake was his favourite spot. We went up the weekend after the huge ice storm so the place was running on a generator, which actually stopped working for a bit but the owners were on top of it as soon as they heard. They were very helpful. Would definitely stay there again in nicer weather! 🙌🙌

We had a great time at Lori's cozy cabin. We felt right at home. The place was the cleanest airbnb we've been to and the kutchen was very well equipped. Lori was really nice and had good advice, answered our questions quickly, and even offered us to stay past the check out to make up for our late arrival. We definitely recommend.

Our stay at the Dingle Run Lodge has been pleasant and definitely worth visiting all seasons. Place and location is very peaceful and has lots of great outdoor activities to explore nearby. Peter is very well communicative and helpful all throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

Perfect peaceful cottage on the lake. So many beds available but the spaces don’t feel crowded even with many people in the house. Cozy and truly authentic cottage feel. My son felt like the bunkie was his own piece of heaven. We appreciated the outdoor amenities such as kayaks and canoe. Even on the crisp late October days we visited we enjoyed the lake, and the wood stove kept us snug in the evening. Nathan was incredibly responsive and helpful. Just a wonderful visit overall.

10/10 one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at! Jessica and Lawrence were incredible helpful, attentive & went above and beyond for us. No wonder they have such amazing reviews. Their spa looks even better in person. It’s peaceful, quiet, private and has lots to do depending on the mood (fire pit, jacuzzi, sauna, tv, etc). Everything is super clean and spotless. Even our little dog felt right at home! I would definitely come back.

We had such a wonderful and peaceful getaway at Caitlin’s cottage. It is the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The cottage was clean and tastefully decorated. We felt very at home. We left a very special teddy behind and Caitlin got it shipped to us very promptly. Thank you so much for a great stay and for the extra help with Teddy!

We agree with all the other great reviews of this place. This is an “end of the road” kind of place. No amenities such as pizzas, bars and so on. Instead you get a profound sense of place once you're here. . People who come here aren’t just passing through they’re here to connect with nature and others. We were there during the off season and really enjoyed the peacefulness, canoeing to the waterfall, doing some fishing and sitting on the sunlit porch overlooking the bay. The hosts of this airbnb , Darrnel and Mike, give it character. They were very genuine and thoughtful in their desire to make sure everything was going well and to ensure that we were having a good time. We can't thank them enough for making our time there so memorable. A big thank you to both of you.
