Mountain cabin on Golsfjellet in quiet and scenic surroundings. The cabin was completed in 2022 and has most of what you need for a holiday in the mountains. Nice hiking opportunities in the area and short travel distance to both Hemsedalsfjella and Jotunheimen. Swimming and fishing opportunities in the Tisleia waterway. At Vasskanten café there is frisbee golf and boat/canoe and SUP rental. Great opportunities for cycling on gravel roads and trails on Golsfjellet or in Hemsedal and Nesbyen. Short distance to Gol and Hallingdalen, Hemsedal and Valdres.

Proximity to Hemsedal (25 min). 10 min walk to Tisleiefjorden with nice fishing opportunities. Nice for walks or bike rides just outside the door. Large fenced plot of 2 acres. Electricity is available, but drinking water/water for washing must be brought. Water jugs are available (2 x 20 L, can be filled nearby). Oven, 4 hot plates and microwave. Good old-fashioned outhouse. Bed linen in the drawer under the bed.

Høgestølen is about 25 min from Hemsedal City Centre (Alpine Center), 15 min to grocery store, and about 5 min. to a network of cross country skiing trails. The cabin is heated with electricity and wood, heating cables in the bathroom and combined washer/dryer The cabin is steep! Car road to the door, possible to park right outside. Here you can experience total silence. In the summer there will be cows and sheep in the area.

Great starting point for cycling, mountain tours, with Nibbi and Skogshorn in the immediate vicinity. 30 minutes to drive to Hemsedalsfjellet🏔️ The cabin has a large terrace with a fire pit and outdoor furniture. The Jacuzzi can only be used for an additional fee, by appointment, and if the renter has experience :) Firewood can be bought at any store🪵 Guests do their own laundry!! Guests must bring bed linens, towels, and firewood!
