Penny has been an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish being approachable, friendly and helpful. Exactly what you’d want from a host. The property has every tiny thing you can think of. The little things you’d normally have to get yourself are all provided. It had been decorated for Easter and my birthday with an Easter egg and birthday cake waiting for us when we arrived. It’s all the little touches and extra care taken that make this a special place to stay. The accommodation was exactly as described and has everything you would need for a stay. Huge, characterful house in a village setting. The most comprehensively equipped kitchen we had ever seen. This is an old house individually furnished and decorated with endless charming quirks.

Yvonne was an excellent and helpful host. The peaceful situation of the cottage was complemented by a stunning view from the living area across the marsh. We throughly enjoyed our stay, which coincided with lambing time, an added bonus. Ideally place to visited Great Dixter and Sissinghurst gardens, as well as many National Trust properties, beaches and beautiful Rye. Highly recommended.

Beautiful house that looks like the pictures. Peaceful area - we all slept really well in comfortable beds and thanks to black-out blinds. Cosy living room with fireplace, and everything you need in the kitchen. There's a bus stop nearby (but worth having a car). A very short walk to the beach and small supermarket too! We used the garden furniture for lunch one day.
