The space
Rugged forest rises above this modern farmhouse set on hiking and biking paths. Take coffee to the deck and watch the sun rise above Aspen Mountain, then return to dinner on the grill and wine from the cellar. Vaulted ceilings preside over blocky wood stools, sheepskin throws, and a Richard Misrach photo, and you can take the elevator down to the garage and reach Aspen Mountain Ski Resort in a mile.
