The Mouse Palace

Located in the French Basque country within an hour and a half of the Pyrenees’ ski resorts, Biarritz, Spain and the fabulous Landes beaches, and just a stone's throw from the stunning medieval towns of Sauveterre-de-Bearn, Salies and Navarrenx in an area well known for its local attractions and summer festivals. Nestled in the tranquil gardens of the 17th Century Chateau d'Osserain-Rivareyte, this cosy guest house has direct access to the river Saison for swimming, canoeing and walking.

PLEASE NOTE: The capacity of the Villa is set at 6 ADULTS + 4 CHILDREN MAXIMUM. The Villa is located on a vast 15,000 m2 property, bordered by a stream on the edge of the forest. The 12 m x 4 m private pool, secured by an electric roller shutter, is surrounded by a large wooden terrace equipped with garden furniture and deckchairs. Fully air-conditioned, equipped and carefully decorated, the Villa offers modern and elegant comfort that will delight families or couples with children.

Located in the countryside, in the heart of the Basque Country, we welcome you to our charming little house, all made of wood and on stilts. You will appreciate it for its calm, brightness and the picturesque view it offers of the Basque mountains. Designed to be completely self-contained, this unusual accommodation will delight nature lovers! Without any neighbors, the accommodation is at the foot of hiking trails, surrounded by pastures where you can visit the cows on our farm.

Old renovated sheepfold

Producers of Espelette pepper and Kintoa PDO pork, we will welcome you to our farm, in this old sheepfold that has been completely renovated, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Rhune and travel around the Basque Country on both sides of the border. Pets are NOT allowed (neither small nor large…) The two bedrooms will be ready to welcome you with the beds made when you arrive. The third bedroom is open for 5 people or an additional charge of €50/night.

The accommodation is 10 minutes from St Palais by car (all amenities: shops, cinema, swimming pool, hospital, etc.).
