Vacation rentals with lake access in Lungern

Monica was the best host I've met. The communicaton with her was very easy, her response time is super quick. The instructions to go in to home is very clear and she is supporting the instructions with videos. Her place is exactly as it seems on the photos and maybe even more beautiful. The view from the balcony and the terrace is mesmerizing. Neighbourhood was very calm and quiet but it might be because it was off season when I stayed there. Although the neighbourhood is calm, the markets and closest shopping centers are only within 15 minutes driving distance. House is also very close to the Villa Balbianello. The house was very clean, Monica left everything we need in the fridge and kitchen. Lastly she helped us a lot during our stay with her recommendations for restaurants, shops, facilities around the region.

The hosts were very responsive, the villa was great, and the view was amazing. The location is perfectly situated between Bellagio and Como, making it easy to visit both. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

Great place with a fantastic view of the lake! I found everything to be as described with the sauna being an obvious highlight. Due to the house being located at a cul-de-sac, it feels very private (except for the odd rando intrigued by the view or the owner's sister collecting some furniture on Easter weekend). The autobahn is nearby, but its sound doesn't overwhelm that of the cow bells, so no big deal.

We had a fantastic stay at Simona's place. Everything was spotless, Simona was there when we arrived and ran us through the house. There's a few stairs, and kitchen and laundry were on the lower storey (of 4) but that worked well as we spent most of our time on the lawn and swimming in the lake. The beds were very comfortable, and there was some road noise but nothing too bad at night. The front door opens directly on to the road - but that was no problem. We walked up to Lenno each day, had a great morning at Villa Balbianello and shopped at the Dino Mart for great pasta, cheese, veg and meats. My advice is to do less travel on the very packed and slow ferries/busses - and spend more time lounging on the lawn and swimming in the lake... there's swans, ducks, turtles, fish, herons in the water and with Isola Comancina in front the water is very calm - and perfectly glassy in the mornings and evenings. Bobby’s place is in a unique, gorgeous location with a great view. Our family really enjoyed the stay. The apartment was very well equipped and Bobby clearly made an effort to make us feel welcome.

We had a great stay here. Emi got in touch a few days ahead of our stay to provide relevant details re check in and was waiting for us when we arrived. The property views - stunning. Also private access to the lake which was a bonus *and our dog loved it. Super peaceful location - great spot to explore Como from.

Alice welcomed us perfectly with a very clean and well-equipped accommodation. She proved to be very responsive to our requests. Not to mention the exceptional view from the terrace over the entire lake. I recommend it!

Pleasant stay in a small loft overlooking Lake Geneva! A small cozy nest for a single person or two! All the amenities available to be quiet during the stay! No complaints

Modern beautiful place, quiet, well-equipped, nice area and helpful landlords. Lake as well as supermarket and bakery within minutes walking distance. We and our dog felt comfortable. We'd love to come back!

I took my family came to Lugano to attend a concert, but this accommodation caught my eye, and we stayed here two nights - what a great experience of this beautiful home. The view is spectacular, the host is warm and welcoming, the location is amazing (15 minutes drive to Lugano), the local restaurants are great, I will definitely come back again. Highly recommended. We had a great stay! Linens, towels and soap/detergent were provided in large quantities. The apartment is cleaned and the kitchen superbly equipped. When we had a problem with the heating, the owner was there immediately and helped us. The view directly onto the lake is fantastic, but the only thorough road leads directly past the house, so it can be heard very loudly on the balcony. Nevertheless, we definitely recommend the apartment, we felt very comfortable

We spent two beautiful days, charming and cared for in every detail, spacious and in a really quiet area and close to many routes. Really super friendly host and always available for any questions! Highly recommended!

The place is very, very beautiful, and the dealing and communication with her was very nice and kind, and she answered quickly when I asked questions. She also helped me with the best tourist and beautiful places in the areas close to the residence. Also, all my friends ask me where this beautiful place is when they saw the pictures I took when I was at home. I will visit you again soon.

Such a lovely stay in this cozy, charming cottage in Nesso! The garden was perfect for lounging in the sun, and we lucked out with beautiful weather. Check-in was super smooth with clear instructions and videos. While we didn’t meet our host, she was very responsive and helpful with local tips. We were greeted with pastries and prosecco, which was such a nice touch! The house is small but great for a short stay. A/C and heating worked well. Bathroom is tiny and hot water ran out quickly, but manageable. There’s a washer (we didn’t use it) but no iron. Heads-up: the steps down to the house from the road are steep! Also, a few things from the listing (like chickens or a certain seating area) weren’t there. We used the bus to get to Como—it’s easy once you figure it out. Overall, our host was wonderful and we’d totally stay here again!

A nice little house directly on the lake. Pure relaxation with sauna and enough space for four to sit on the sofa. You are quickly in the city or in the mountains and various shopping facilities are available nearby. Lovingly decorated and cozy. Very nice contact and impeccable communication.

The Rustico Ofelia is a dream; secluded, quiet, close to nature, but still perfectly equipped (in winter you heat yourself with 2 stoves and a fireplace; on the upper floor it has underfloor heating). Giulio is a sensational host, friendly, helpful and always available for questions. We will be happy to come back!

We generally had a nice stay with our toddler of 2 years. Ashley welcomed us very warmly and shared all the info we needed. The house has everything you need and is very clean. In the street is a restaurant which pleased us well. The Lugano area is really beautiful. Despite all the positives, we would not come back so soon. That has to do with the noisiness of the road in front of the house. Also the stairs to get to the front door is dangerous with a toddler. All praise to Ashley, of course she can't change anything about the above!
