House vacation rentals in Lummi Island

Emma's place was perfect for our needs. There was plenty of room for all of us - including our 2 big dogs! The decor is lovely, just like the pictures, but free from clutter, which I appreciated. The kitchen had every item we needed to make our meals. The sauna and cold soak tub were a very appreciated bonus! The neighborhood is very peaceful, and felt safe for walking our dogs. Most importantly was how kind, gracious, and communicative Emma was. She allowed us to check in early, which helped us immensely, and answered any questions we had quickly. I would definitely recommend this rental to others.

We loved our time in this relaxing, comfortable and sweet home. The view was amazing and the neighborhood was quiet, a perfect place to unwind. The bed was comfortable and the listing was accurate. Hosts were responsive and their recommendations were spot on. We’d definitely stay here again!

A comfortable, clean house with plenty of room for a family or adult friend group. Super helpful and friendly host who responds immediately. Enjoyed the media room and huge new screen. House is in Sudden Valley, so 20+ min drive to Bellingham downtown. OTOH, SV has gorgeous golf course, beaches & lake access, small parks, tennis courts. There are two close casual restaurants and a small market.

What a great spot! Nestled in the woods in a peaceful and quiet setting this place is truly one-of-a-kind. The house is very unique with lots of character that sets it apart from the usual stays. It was clean and had all we needed. Our host Gramma Rikki was exceptionally warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate, and we could not take advantage of all the outdoor spaces and amenities. We played pool, sat by the cozy fire and did some island exploring by car. All in all it was a very enjoyable and relaxing getaway despite the crummy weather. We hope to return one day and experience everything this wonderful place has to offer.

We loved this place and the views it provided and we were able to walk to the beach every night. It is close to town and we loved the downtown area also.

We spent a terrific few days here. The home is lovely. Spotless, perfectly equipped, very comfortable. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings while also being so close to town.

We had a great time at Anna's house and immediately felt right at home. It had everything we needed. It felt perfectly secluded and private in spite of the neighborhood being relatively dense. The view of the lake was beautiful. We appreciated the house's proximity to Bellingham and the area's sprawling mountain bike trails. Grateful for our time there!

I needed a last minute extended stay on Camano island and was thrilled with Michael's place. It was very comfortable and has many of the amenities of home. We didn't get to enjoy the outdoors much since it's the rainy season but still were treated to a few nice sunsets. The back yard would be fabulous in the summer time. We loved sitting by the fire in the sunroom. Michael was easy to work with on short notice and we would absolutely stay there again.

I was traveling with 3 kids (pre teen and teens). We all loved our stay! There was so much to do and absolutely everything we needed for anything we could think of doing. We enjoyed ping pong, biking, s’more’s, kayaking, games, cooking meals, watching wildlife (seals, a huge sea lion, weasel, bald eagles), and hanging out with a friendly black cat that visited. I cooked a couple meals and had everything I needed for cooking and storage. The view was amazing and north-facing which made me upset that I missed the strong auroras by 1 day :( I wish we could have stayed longer!

What a wonderful spot! Emily's house felt like a modern cabin in the woods, with very thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor areas. The house has amazing, almost direct access to the Galbraith trail system (which we really appreciated, as mountain bikers); and its location along Lakeway Drive means you're a short drive to everything Bellingham has to offer. The kitchen is also fully stocked and you would be able to whip up just about any meal you could imagine, if you wanted to! We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again.

If you’re down for something simple but not full-on primitive, this place is delightful. The location is divine (right on the water) and Jackie is a great host. Now if you’re looking for something modern, this might not be for you — but for everyone else, I can’t imagine not loving this little tiny home!

We came here as 3 moms on a Mother's Day weekend getaway. It was everything the doctor ordered: peace and quiet, a beach within walking distance, birds all around and the delightful town of Fairhaven just up the road. We loved the comfortable lived-in feel of the house. So many Airbnbs these days are without personality; this is a home that has been lived in and loved, filled with the books and art of a family that loved their home and its beautiful setting. We watched birds, took hikes, completed a jigsaw puzzle and explored the shops of Fairhaven. It is hard to ask for anything more. The beds were comfortable, the view from the deck was amazing, it had everything we needed - without being remotely pretentious.

Great spot for a long weekend visiting friends. Host was proactive and the house was clean and modern.

We had such a lovely and relaxing We had such a lovely time at Charles and Kristy’s, exactly what we needed for a getaway from city life for a few days! The house had everything we needed to feel right at home, and oh the views!! When not enjoying the serenity of the home and its amenities, there was plenty to do in the charming downtown area of Friday Harbor and all throughout the island. Us humans and our pup loved every moment of our stay!

This is a fantastic little house created with so much love and attention to detail! Autumn was kind and fast to respond. We enjoyed spending rainy mornings and evenings by the fireplace and discovering tons of trails, fantastic views during the day. We would definitely stay again. It was the perfect place for a weekend trip away from the city.

My friend and I came for a weekend getaway and it was a dream! The place is better than the pictures and we absolutely loved the gorgeous design and setup of the home. Ferndale isn't a "bumping" town but we spent our weekend antique shopping, drinking wine in the beautiful yard and then made our way to Bellingham and mount Vernon for food and coffee when we wanted to go out. Highly recommend giving this place a visit!!!

This was my favorite AirBnB of all times! Gorgeous views, clean, comfortable house. Amenities exceeded expectations. If you are lucky enough to get a booking it's worth every penny. Thoughtful details and very welcoming. Cozy sheets and linens, thick, nice towels. Kitchen well-appointed with basics and more. Views beyond compare. Wished we stayed longer. Will definitely rebook. No question!

First, we really loved the place and the views cannot be beat. It is quiet, truly peaceful, and has amazing views of the Sound and Mt. Baker. The grounds are immaculate and the house is very nicely decorated. I have to say, it is probably the most well stocked kitchen for dishes, pans, spices, teas, and utensils. We loved the serenity of Lummi Island and even got a couple of nice bike rides in. One item to mention though, there is a third bedroom but it requires going through one of the other bedrooms to get to it so its not very private. This worked great for us as we used the room for our infant daughter but 3 couples would find this awkward. It was not clear on the listing so I figured it needed a mention. Gudrun was very responsive, especially when the Wifi went out for a bit (island maintenance) and he kept us updated. Not a lot of attractions on the island but we were vacationing with an infant so just hanging out on the grounds and visiting with family was good enough.

The architecture is both unique and impressive, blending seamlessly into the landscape while offering thoughtful design details throughout. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and every amenity was top quality. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook full meals. You can tell a lot of care went into ensuring guests have everything they need. One of the highlights was the wildlife. We saw plenty of birds and even a bald eagle right outside the window! If you’re looking for a place to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with nature (without sacrificing comfort), this is it.

I was looking for a place to escape the busyness of life for a little while with my family and discovered the perfect place to do just that in Marilyn’s home. This home is such a peaceful place while being within walking distance of woodsy trails and the beach! My two kiddos had the best time and were always entertained. Upon arrival, the home was spotless and so cozy. Marilyn quickly responded to all messages and would check to see if we needed anything, which was so awfully kind! The neighbors and locals were all so welcoming and warm. We had the best time kicking it at the beach in the sun, walking nature trails, and driving around the island with the windows down taking in the gorgeous views. Even ended each night in the backyard watching the sunset over a glass of red. Whether it’s a girls trip, family vacay, or couple’s retreat, this is the place to go! We will definitely be back!!

We absolutely loved the Crabbin' Cottage. The photos did not do it justice! Great location only about a little over a mile away from the ferry, Beach Store Cafe, General Store & Sat Farmer's Market. The views from the backyard were absolutely incredible. The backyard was a great space for our dog to romp around & for a late night bonfire. It was a cozy space that could very comfortably sleep 7. Lots of games, books and plenty of kitchen supplies to easily cook at the house if you want to. It was a peaceful getaway with lots of privacy & has its own private beach access. Just note the stairs down to the beach are extremely steep.
