Great space! My family and I were in town for our brother's birthday and we were able to gather there with plenty of space. Good spot if you have a larger crew of folks you're traveling with.

We had a lovely stay! The place was clean, cozy, and very quiet—perfect for a relaxing getaway. We especially enjoyed the great selection of board games, which made for some really fun family evenings. The private beach access was a huge bonus—peaceful, beautiful, and never crowded. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back again!

Words cannot describe how special this place is. We were lucky enough to stay for almost a month, and the house and beach just kept on giving. The space has an incredible view out to the Salish sea, and we watched a parade of herons, bald eagles, and numerous other seabirds from the front deck. The house is equipped with everything you need and more, full of whimsy and fun art supplies, games, the best blankets and comforters ever, and two cozy fireplaces. The photos do not do the house justice; it's huge and modern, open plan, but with lots of private sitting spaces. Dawn and Zach are the kindest, most wonderful hosts. There's a reason the Sunset house has hundreds of rave reviews. If you have a chance to book it, don't hesitate.

We just loved this farmhouse and property! It has a huge, fenced yard perfect for our dogs to run around safely, a picnic table for outdoor eating , beautiful gardens and mature fruit trees and a fire pit! Inside the home was equally amazing- renovated to be open concept yet still has the farmhouse charm. Beautiful kitchen and spacious, comfortable bedrooms upstairs. We absolutely loved it here and will definitely be back!

This is our second stay at the Madrone, and I cannot recommend it more highly. It's an excellently equipped home, and has several zones where guests can find privacy. Randall has been the best host: super responsive, open, respectful, and did us a small favor in a pinch, which felt like a big favor to us. With lake views in a very private seeming neighborhood, and walking distance to town, it stands out as one of the best places I've stayed. And, the master bathroom has a bomber shower head. Thanks for everything, Randall!

Julias airbnb on the lake was absolutely beautiful, and it was the perfect peaceful, weekend get away! Awesome location, awesome home, and an awesome host! I would definitely stay here again!

We visited Lopez Island for a quick weekend away and are so happy we chose Linnea’s place. The house was very charming and included everything we need while there. Its location was perfect (right in the heart of the village so we could easily walk to restaurants and shops). Also, the bed upstairs that we slept in was VERY comfy. Highly recommend. Greg is an excellent host! He was easy to work with and has a superb property. It is in a secluded and relaxing location with a great view of the ocean. The private beach access was a highlight for us and the location close to town and ferry was clutch. Would definitely come back

What a fun adventure and Island. I was nervous about booking and coordinating a charter and ride to the house, but Ramy and Island Express were easy to communicate with and have clear instruction. Ramy met us and helped us on arrival too. We even booked a spontaneous charter to Orcas Island for the day and both Ramy and Island Charter made that easy and possible! The location has amazing views and the beach is beautiful. We enjoyed running and walking the island without running into many cars or people, it was very peaceful. The library was my favorite, and the golf course was fun. Both easy to walk to from the house. We stayed 5 nights and didn’t get bored. Ramy was kind enough to let us use her car to see more of the island and to let us take it to the ramp to go to Orcas. Thank you for being a great host! Oh, and if you walk by the big ying yang gate at the neighbors down the road, ring the bell as the sign asks you to! That was definitely a little adventure on its own.

Absolutely beautiful area!! If you're looking for a relaxing place on the water with an absolutely beautiful view...look no further! We (family of 4) visited from the East Coast...we checked out Vancouver and Seattle - both areas well within driving distance. But, once you arrive here....you won't want to leave or venture out too far away. We enjoyed all of the different animals we saw...felt like we had our own private viewing of the bald eagles. We definitely will consider visiting PNW in the future. We had a fantastic time!!

A true gem of an AirBnB. The photos were accurate but somehow still didn’t do justice to the beauty here! The house was spotless and well-appointed. Location is great— close enough to Coupeville to eat some delicious meals out, but private and lovely enough that you might opt instead to stay at the house, relax on the deck and take in the view. Would definitely repeat and would recommend to others.

We truly loved our stay in the beautiful, secluded location. It couldn’t have gone any better. Don & Kathy are wonderful hosts and made us feel right home.

Spent 10 nights as a solo writing retreat (with my wife joining me on the weekend). Perfect for this even in mid-November. Super livable small home, south-facing right on the lake, two lakeside wall almost all windows, so daylight was beautiful. Thought it might be cold inside in November but the house is snug; heats up nicely and there are no drafts. Brad and Lisa are excellent hosts: quick to respond, helpful and friendly. It’s abundantly clear how much they love the place. Lots of small but nice touches. And then there’s the lake. We stayed here in warm weather before and enjoyed swimming, paddle boarding and rowing. But even in cold weather the lake is a treat. Ducks, loons, sunrise sparkles, evening sunsets. I have only good things to say.

I stayed here for the Tulip Festival, and it was exactly what I needed! The location was easy to find, the instructions and map were very clear. The space itself is aesthetically pleasing, and was the perfect amount of space for just me. The amenities are truly above and beyond, and it alleviated a lot of the stress of making sure I brought everything I needed to have a great stay. The big window by the bed was so cozy and perfect, my window faced right into the trees which was a great view. I would suggest bringing an extra blanket! I loved the phone box, books, and radio. I wasn’t planning on going device-less at first, but I was inspired. The spaces are pretty close together, but everyone was quiet and respectful. I could hardly tell I had any neighbors! Overall, I had an amazing stay and the cabin genuinely surpassed all of my expectations.

We had a wonderful time. The cabin is so cozy, we enjoyed the fireplace, watched movies, did smores on the fire pit. Everything was clean, and full of nice amenities.

The lake cabin has a beautiful private yard and private beach with picnic tables, fire pit and tons of boats to play with. Really beautiful view and comfortable cabin! The sunlight is so beautiful in the afternoons as it shines throughout and leaves you with a perfect sunset later! Great family fun time or quiet getaway for a couple.

We really, really enjoyed our stay at The Dollhouse. It was exactly as described and was essentially the perfect size for us (couple staying for several nights). The surroundings were so beautiful and the house itself incredibly peaceful. Listening to the frogs at night and the birds in the morning was a joy! The two things I was a little nervous about before our trip turned out to be complete non-issues: while the Dollhouse is closer to a busy road, it is still far enough back and the road is quiet enough that we never really noticed the traffic at all, and although I was a little worried we’d feel too far out from Bellingham, the distance actually felt perfect. Absolutely would recommend this stay and would enthusiastically stay again.

Great spot and super easy. Shane was helpful, place was clean, quiet, well-equipped and comfortable. We’ll be back next time we’re on Orcas!

Heidi’s place was wonderful! We loved the view of the big pond with Koi swimming and even enjoyed a outdoor fire in the fire pit. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Cozy and wonderful for our Thanksgiving getaway!!
