Lake Front Retreat & Water Sports

The downstairs apartment is available for AirBnB guests. Our home is on the lake in the Foothills of NC with water sports in our back yard. Great atmosphere, views, lake, and R&R. The apartment includes one bedroom (1 king size bed, 1 queen foam mattress), a living room, an entertainment area with pool table and darts. It also has a full private bath. The apartment steps out onto a private lower deck overlooking the lake. Our place is good for couples, adventurers, business people, and families.

Lake-house Not far away but you feel like it is.

Right on the lake. Enjoy the great sunsets unobstructed. Easy access ramp leading to the entrance door. Enter The living room Kitchen area. Two double sliding doors open to the large screened Porch were you can just relax and don’t forget the sunsets. The bathroom has a large walk in rain head shower The two bedrooms have full size very comfortable mattresses. A full size kitchen and a nice eating area. Two docks for fishing or just relaxing. Year round adventure is waiting just for you.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Secluded home yet close to town. Nestled in a quiet cove right off the main channel on Lake Hickory. It has a heated indoor pool so even in the winter time you can enjoy the water with view of the lake. There is a dock as well. So if you happen to want to enjoy the lake, you can. The house has its own boat ramp so if you want to bring your own boat you can. If not there are places to rent them from. Hope you come and enjoy our piece of paradise.

Calm, Clean, Safe & completely remodeled 1 bed room home. King size bed. House has sleeper sofa and a small study nook. (Ideally for two). Relaxing back porch. Kitchen has an island with 2 stools all modern look. House has Wifi, Netflix, Hulu and Disney channels. This is a very small home 6ft low shower. with great quality items. Nice place to relax. Perfectly centered 5 min drive to lake, or LR University, 10 min to Downtown Hickory. 11 min to I-40. Pots, Plates, Appliances.

This comfy, cute, and stylish family home is located near Lenoir Rhyne University in Hickory, NC. Under a 10 minute drive to quaint downtown Hickory with plenty of shopping and historical districts nearby. The 2-1-3 house is a charming 1950's bungalow right in the heart of hickory, just minutes from downtown, Lenoir Rhyne college, and many other corporate offices. Coffee houses, restaurants, grocery store, pharmacy and dry cleaning are all within walking distance. The 215 is pet friendly, however we REQUIRE a $20 pet fee also no more than 2 pets allowed. Animals can be no larger than 40 lbs. When you book please select the amount of guest including the pet/pets as guest.

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it! The octogon style of the place, along with the rooptop swing, was very unique. Went up there many times for meals with an unbeatable view. Also has a lovely neighborhood-owned waterfall that was just a 10 minute drive away. All amenities were as indicated, the place was clean, and instuctions were clear and easy. Some things to note are that the bedrooms/common areas all share the same ceiling, so noise and lights are not isolated, and the bedrooms can't currently be locked. Not an issue for us though. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful place! Seems to be well taken care of. Definitely feel a peace when sitting by the lake. On negative I’d say is having the home as a dual air bnb and a residence but other than that not a single complaint!

The SkyDome was just lovely! It's quite cozy but has all you need for two people. Aidan has it well appointed, with lots of necessities provided. Aidan was also super responses to questions! We attended Merlefest during the day, which was super convenient for us. And the SkyDome was a lovely, quiet retreat for the evenings and mornings!

Stacey's home was fabulous! This was our families second time here and we can't wait to come back again. We have kids and grandkids in the area and it is perfect for all of us to get together and enjoy the lake and local area. Our son brought his boat and docked it the entire stay. The grandkids had an absolute blast playing in the sand and on the beach. EVERYTHING we needed was provided for the many meals we cooked/grilled. The screened in porch was amazing for the rainy morning we had. If you are looking for a relaxing lake get away, this is it. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us Stacey. It is truly a gem. We can't wait to come back!
