Waterfront vacation rentals in Lower Franconia

Me and my partner together with our cat wanted to do a city break at Bamberg and found this gem. It is a very beautiful little village and the house is right by a small lake. Rennovated vacation house, felt right at home, would recommend to anyone, it was just great and Claudias recommendations helped us a lot!

We stayed for an extended weekend in the very nice apartment and felt very comfortable. Everything you needed was available and the apartment was very clean. The landlords are very nice and have given good tips for exploring the area. Thank you! We'll be back.

Great host, great apartment, recommend!

We had a really nice time! We felt right at home and the apartment was even more beautiful than in the pictures! Especially the balcony overlooking the stream invited us to relax :). Johanna was also always available and always very friendly!

A very tasteful and well thought-out apartment with all the things you need. Nothing is missing and we immediately felt at home and also extended our stay. Kathrin is always available, very accommodating and caring. The small garden is beautiful even in winter and looked very pretty in the snow. The bed is extremely comfortable and you can sleep incredibly well there because it is also super quiet. The apartment is highly recommended for excursions in the area, to Würzburg and to relax. The reception was also wonderful with some light, a small letter and a fireplace on the TV. Very cozy!!!!!!

We spent a girls' weekend at Angelika's and were totally thrilled! The hostess was super attentive and warm, always easy to reach and welcomed us personally. The apartment looks exactly as shown in the pictures and we were very impressed with the amenities. In the kitchen there is everything you need and beyond (even milk frother and sandwich maker)...there are two lounges and terraces with magnificent views over Sommerhausen. The beds were super comfortable - especially the living room couch, which surprised us. The whole apartment has a great energy and you can tell that it is furnished and maintained with love. A big compliment to the hostess and highly recommended!!✨️🙏

Perfect for what we needed for our stay in Fulda. Easy to get around and good walking trail into the city center right behind the apartment.

It was just gorgeous. The apartment is significantly larger than it looks and so nice and quiet. The bed and couch are incredibly comfortable. (3 nights) We lacked nothing and even special requests were fulfilled, thank you again! We were sad to have to leave. Gladly come again 😚

A very great property with a lot of love for detail. Communication with Caroline and Alexander was very straightforward, friendly and accommodating. Dancinghaid is the perfect place to relax with friends and family. Everything has been thought of in the house and you immediately feel comfortable. Always happy to stay again! 🌞

This is a lovingly furnished and well-kept accommodation in a beautiful and quiet relaxing village inhabited by many cosmopolitan people and has a real character. Absolutely recommend

This is small town Germany just as we remembered it. such a special place to visit/stay and feel like a local.

We were there with a group of nine friends and had a super nice weekend! The house is very lovingly and beautifully renovated, the rooms one more beautiful than the other. Alex & Nicole took great care of us (i.e. the fridge filled with local wine) and were responsive at all times. From the front door you can walk through the pretty place along the Main to the fields, past nice restaurants with local wine and very good Franconian food. The train from Veitshöchsheim on the other side of the Main is at Würzburg Central Station in 8 minutes and you can stroll through the pretty baroque castle garden on the way to the train station. We highly recommend it!

The place was beautifully located and immediately radiated a feel-good atmosphere. The decor is beautiful. Cozy and modern, just great :)) Katharina, the hostess, also always reflected this in a courteous manner and left no questions unanswered. Thank you.

We were lucky enough to spontaneously spend the Easter holidays in the beautiful chalet and had a great time with the family (8 adults, 1 toddler). The chalet is located in a very quiet area on the mountain and is great for a wellness or hiking holiday. The host Dirk was always very accommodating and eager and always communicated quickly. The chalet was very clean and with a lot of love for detail, we felt very comfortable. The highlight was of course sauna and hot tub - we will be happy to come back!

We had a very nice time there. The house is very cozy and nicely decorated. Everything is clean, tidy, very well thought out and functional. We loved the open design of the rooms, and everything is bright and offers a great view. The area is extremely quiet, even on the adjacent hiking trails we hardly saw anyone. The surroundings with meadows, sheep (currently also very sweet lambs) and chickens by the creek are very idyllic. Random encounters with the neighbors were extremely friendly. Absolutely recommended if you are looking for a few days of rest and relaxation.

A real insider tip for families with young children! At the beginning of April, we stayed for four days in the beautiful apartment of dear Monika and felt completely comfortable. The apartment was clean, cozy, and well equipped. For our 20 month old daughter there was a high chair and travel cot – just perfect. Right outside the door there is a small pond with a stream, and behind it is a playground – a dream for little explorers! The apartment is located in a quiet side street, ideal for children who can safely ride a bike or four bike there and discover the world. Communication with Monika was straightforward, friendly and fast. We highly recommend the place and will be happy to come back! Thank you so much dear Monika!

Extended weekend to pick up a bike. Very nice area with many possibilities. Good transport connection. Centrally located, everything within walking distance (supermarket, bakery, restaurant,...) Very nice little apartment with everything you need. We knew about the steep stairs from the previous reviews, but it is still an experience and takes getting used to. For tall people, the bed may be a little too small... ;-). Only the staircase already smells very strongly of cigarettes - the apartment, on the other hand, does not. All around a nice and flexible time. Marie as a host was always very friendly and helpful. Thank you.

This is our second time staying at Kristen’s place! Just like the previous stay, Kristen was a great hostess and the apartment was perfect for our needs! High recommend this place if you need a place to stay in Marktheidenfeld.

Check in was easy and hassle-free due to the detailed instructions. The hostess Katja has been friendly and always quick to reach. The property is located in a peaceful location, is lavishly equipped and modernly furnished. Even a bicycle can be rented by arrangement! Overall, I loved the stay!
