Fantastic time at Fred’s cottage. Lovely location really peaceful area and easy access from Dublin or the west coast. Very helpful host and easy check in and checkout. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped kitchen. Will definitely recommend to anyone hoping for a relaxing few days and really hope to stay again. Mickey, was a real gentleman, very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. When we arrived Mickey had the makings of a fry, and sandwich ingredients as well as cake and biscuits. He went to great trouble to source local taxi numbers and even dropped us to where we wanted to go on one occasion. He was very helpful without being intrusive. We will definitely be back again.

We very much enjoyed staying at Claire’s place. It was very well appointed with everything you need to enjoy your stay. We especially appreciated the smaller details and extra care they took to include little things that one needs in a hurry like scissors and such. The place was very clean and comfortable and highly recommend this property to others. Thank you Claire for the lovely stay.

Kate is a lovely helpful free spirit. The accommodation suited me down to the ground but is basic. The nearest pub/shop is a 30/40 minute walk. The toilet is a composting one (bucket with sawdust in it which you empty yourself.) Lots of seasonal veg is available and if you so choose you can even help around the farm. Not for everyone but if your down to earth and relaxed sort of person, youll love it.
