David & Jacqui are incredibly lovely hosts. You can tell at all times that your well-being is very important to them. From your arrival to your departure. Wonderful people who become friends. The accommodation is beautiful. Of course, the view deserves special mention. The sea and the mountains are at your feet. A place where you can completely relax. WiFI is up to date, works perfectly and there are some books and TV. The spa area is very spacious and the pool is beautiful. You can walk to Comares, where there are shops and restaurants. A beautiful place for which holidaymakers come from far and wide. You get to know the world anew while you relax under almond and olive trees. Your dogs are an added bonus to make you feel at home. The open-plan living area is very nice. They pay attention to detail to make you feel at home. The barbecue&wine is ready and there is plenty of space to relax. Garret was an exceptional host! He was very helpful during the whole stay and made us feel right at home at El Rancho. The stunning views and a calm atmosphere was amazing, including the many facilities like rooftop terrace, big pool for cooling off, plenty of sunbeds and a barbeque grill. It was also close to mountains for scenic hikes and a via ferrata. Would absolutely recommend!

This was the second time we have stayed a group of 10 friends in the house... and we plan to repeat.

Remote escape to Andalusian countryside. The villa was lovely. Quiet, peaceful & idyllic. Situated atop a hill with unobstructed views across hills & plantations with sea in the distance. The villa was clean, comfortable, and with all essentials. Some people may find this villa too isolated, but this is what we wanted (needed!). There is a small supermarket in Benamargosa (10 min drive), and large hypermarket in Vélez-Málaga (30 min). You'll need to travel distance to eat out. Challenging 10 min drive between Benamargosa & the villa: single windy mountain track and last minute on unsealed road - safe but for a confident driver. Take it slow & you'll be fine (the drive to the reservoir is more challenging, & don't turn left at the STOP sign down onto Cala Ermita unless your car is small!). We stayed in March, so chilly evenings indoors (wood fire was cosy), but ideal for warmer months. Only struggle was water pressure/flow in showers. Wilm a very helpful & responsive host. Would return.

Jennyleigh and Terry were wonderful hosts. Really friendly and so helpful. In fact I got a bit lost one morning in the village trying to find my way to a particular path! And Jennyleigh walked to meet me and showed me where to go. Pretty simple, not sure how I got myself so lost! Highly recommend their place. Location was great, right in the centre of the village. Apartment was clean and everything I needed for a wonderful few days. The village was very welcoming and friendly too. Definitely want to come back and next time bring my husband!

Nice and comfortable apartment, completely new, just as seen in the photos; the reading corner we loved it. Great location in the neighborhood of the Villa, quiet and close to everything. María Isabel is a great amphithe, very attentive and kind.

A great location to hangout with friends or family. Nice and quiet location yet lot of attractions nearby. A great place for Nature lovers.

We stayed in the beautiful spacious house for the entire month of January, equipped with every comfort and met us fine. Chosen for January because it is not yet so hot in Spain and chosen for its location in the mountains because of the peace and nature. The house is located just outside the village of Periana with a beautiful unobstructed view towards the reservoir and in the distance the sea. Have taken beautiful mountain walks directly in the area or visited small villages by car or made wonderful beach walks on the coast in Torre del Mar that can be reached from Periana in half an hour. Behind the house was a spacious garden with beach chairs and barbecue and was lockable so our little dog could not walk away and play wonderfully, on the front floor you could also sit and enjoy the sunshine. The house was sparkling clean but because of the winter months it was fresh, so the wood-burning stove or electric had to be on. Andrés was a great host for us.

This little house is away from the hustle and bustle of the city and from the phone signal. The location is absolutely spectacular, overlooking the mountains and olive groves and plains, nines that were close and the sound of birds , and in the evening the sunset was something wonderful. The cottage is simple but flirtatious with everything. But the terrace was gorgeous , it's a shame we couldn't use the pool otherwise we had spectacular and quiet evenings. This place is perfect to run away from your routine and disconnect from everything. Loved it and definitely come back!
