Beach house vacation rentals in Long Island

This is a great home with everything you need on the north part of the island. The home is comfortable with AC in each bedroom. The location is very private and you essentially have a beach to yourself given how quiet it is on the island. We didn’t see anyone on our part of the beach across a couple days.

The house and property: Peaceful. Pristine. Private. The host: Friendly. Knowledgeable. Responsive. Our family had a wonderful time at House Marlin! Cathy is a friendly, responsive, knowledgeable host. Check-in was easy. The house is clean and had all the amenities our family needed. We were steps from the beach and our kids loved the pool.

My fiance and I stayed at Casa de Bahamas for a full week and absolutely loved everything about the trip and the house! The space is very roomy and could easily fit more people. The house is conveniently located ~20 minutes from the Stella Maris Airport and a short drive to the grocery store and other popular destinations on the island. The home itself is very well kept and fully stocked with everything you need for a beach vacation (sunscreen, towels, bugspray, kayaks, paddleboards, floaties). The kitchen is also equipped with everything you need. We were blown away by the beach and the natural beauty of the outdoor space. The island itself is very quiet and you practically have the beach to yourself - it's a perfect spot to unplug and get away from the hustle and bustle. We met many ocean friends including, starfish, sea turtles and a stingray! A few things not noted: - The outdoor space has a firepit that included a bundle of firewood - the stars at night were the best we have ever seen! - Dmitri connected us with a rental car option about a week before our trip which was very convenient - highly recommend renting a car, be sure to bring cash to pay for the car rental. - The island and the home are surrounded by natural beauty and with that comes outdoor friends - sand mites at dawn and dusk, we also ran into small scorpions outside. We didn't have a problem with bugs indoors and the house is stocked with bug spray. - The flowers and bird feeders bring around tons of hummingbirds which was a lovely surprise. - The pool is deeper than we thought and is a saltwater pool which we liked. We highly recommend Casa de Bahamas and can't wait to return!!!

We had a truly wonderful time at Bill’s place. Bill met us at the house and gave us a tour . He is a very charming and knowledgeable host. The property is actually better than described and had everything that you could wish for. The house was spotless with very comfortable king size bed in the master bedroom and many lovely towels in the bathroom, which is a change from some of the Airbnbs we have stayed in previously. The views from the wrap around deck were stunning. We wholeheartedly recommend Bill’s place for anyone wishing to explore beautiful Long Island.

This was our family’s second trip to Long Island and our second time staying at Atil’s. We loved every minute of our time on the island and at Atil’s home. The location of this house is truly perfect…it’s amazing to be able to walk to Dean’s Blue Hole. The house also includes so many wonderful additions like a kayak, clear kayak, and beach chairs. Our three boys (1, 3, and 6) love the closet full of toys, playing in the yard, and running up and down the giant veranda. It’s a perfect house for a family! Atil is an incredibly generous and attentive host. He truly tries to take care of the people who stay at his house. Thank you, Atil, for another wonderful trip! We can’t wait to return!

Wow! This was such an amazing place to stay in Long Island—we truly loved it here. It’s a safe, welcoming island, and while we normally don’t return to the same place twice, this spot will be hard not to revisit. The house had everything we needed, including thoughtful safety essentials like EpiPens, a choking kit, and a first aid kit. It was comforting to know those were there, especially since there aren’t hospitals directly on the island. We adored the balcony view. Like many reviews mentioned, it’s the perfect spot for coffee and breakfast. We also had dinners there and stargazed most nights—the skies are stunning. We stayed in late May, and the beach really opened up more toward the end of the month, with significantly lower tides. High tide usually came in around 4–5:30 p.m. The beach in front of the house is amazing. I loved the rocks and the little hidden cove, which offers natural shade at times. There was some seaweed build-up, but it didn’t affect the water quality during

We love Long Island and the Fox 2 house in Stella Mari’s was a great home base for us! Everything was exactly as described and we appreciated the beach towels and chairs. A little cooler would be a nice addition! Such a beautiful island with such happy and friendly residents. Hope to return and would rent this house again!

Jason was an impeccable host. He was always available to provide helpful advice about the property. He has an enormous knowledge of Long Island and gave us great advice for our visit. Whether it is your 1st time to the Bahamas or your 60th trip, I highly recommend booking the House of Blues!!!

Stunning location, great people - we ended up staying in the Flamingo house which was amazing. Loved the natural pools and the resort pools. Beach was gorgeous. Views hard to believe. Bar food was great and our waitress Shanelle was awesome. Love Beach was just down the road and very nice also. Snorkeled at the rock pools. Beds are older and decor is dated however space and decks were very nice. Resort food was good however a bit pricey for our budget, found some great takeaways just down the road. Met some really great people - had fun at the resort rum punch party. Drove to the Stella Maris lot at the cape (they also provide a shuttle), cabanas were taken up but the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen! Only negative is I didn’t notice until we arrived that power was extra on top of the nightly price (fine print).

Great location within the Stella Maris Resort area, very on theme gecko house. Everything is as in the photos and the oceanfront view is just as great as the hosts.

HIGHLY recommend this resort for families getting to know the island AND return visitors. This island is truly a gem, and the resort is perfectly situated in the northern part of the island to relax, explore and connect with your loved ones! The Flamingo House is a great home for large groups that want the convenience of a resort, with the privacy of a house. We'll definitely be back for: the 4 large bedrooms, open living space, and the prime location next to the saltwater pool - with a direct path from your porch to the most amazing swimming experience! Freshwater pool is a plus and also closeby. The staff deserves 10 stars for cooking our fresh catch 2xdaily, the best drinks at the Moonshine bar (house has private path to it), and staying open later for us after a day of exploring. Would only dock a half star for the screen doors that were tough to open, AC upgrades needed in 1-2 bedrooms, and some necessary renovations, but nothing I wouldn't expect in the Bahamas!

My husband and I spent 2 weeks at Heavenly Oasis, and could not have felt more lucky to have chosen this place to spend our time in while exploring Long Island. The home itself had all the amenities and comforts you could hope for, and the beach was truly spectacular - one of the best we found on the entire island. Nerissa who greeted us at the home was very gracious and helpful. Location wise - it was very convenient to both north and south sides or the island, and near many restaurants and a big grocery store. Definitely an amazing spot!

Janice's house was exactly what we were looking for--quiet, peaceful, gorgeous setting, ane comfortable beds. Janice was always responsive and recommended a great fishing guide (Yan Turnquest!) and restaurants (go to Max's conch bar and he will cook your fish). We walked on the beach for 5 hours one day and didn't see anyone! There is a beautiful cove just south of the house protected by the reef that is great for swimming. I highly recommend Janice's house--it has everything you need for a comfortable relaxing stay where you can get away from it all.
