Big Beef Spit is a five-minute walk away. A neighboring guest house and caretaker’s cottage are also both available for rent. **Please note that the loft bedroom gets chilly during cold weather.

He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Explore the unbelievable beauty of the Olympic National Park just a few miles away featuring hiking to rainforests, glaciers, and mountain lakes.

Tucked into a lush rain forest, this cozy and private tiny house is a peaceful retreat for slowing down. Wake to birdsong and filtered light through the towering trees, enjoy coffee or wine outdoors on the deck, grill dinner and gather by the fire pit as stars appear through the forest canopy. A simple, thoughtfully designed base for exploring the port towns and the Olympic Peninsula — or doing nothing at all. That's how we planned it. Small pets welcome. We use CDC guidelines as close as possible & leave 48+ hours between guests for your/our safety. Enjoy our secluded park like setting, comfy bed, sauna, homemade bread/jam, huge cedar trees, sitting areas, golf chipping, horseshoes (seasonal). Close to SEA via ferry ride from Bainbridge Is. (30 min. drive) or 10 min. to Kingston ferries (walk-on or car). Near beach, golf (White Horse GC) & miles of hiking/biking trails, close to shopping & restaurants. Good for couples/singles. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). Enjoy the beachfront park nearby. We are only 10 minutes from Poulsbo, Port Gamble, and the Hood Canal bridge.

Bring or rent a kayak or paddleboard: explore Hood head, Squamish harbor, or Gamble bay. Close to the Hood Canal Floating Bridge. Summer days we often have deer in the yard, and eagles soaring above, watching the shoreline for fish. Our yard has fruit trees, a barbecue, fire pit, and views of the mountains and water There is a trail through the woods to the nearby shoreline. It's a spacious ground floor retreat. Convenient access to Seattle via Kingston or Bainbridge ferries, including the fast ferry from Kingston. Nicely located at the north end of the Kitsap Peninsula, with proximity to the Olympic Peninsula. Downtown Poulsbo is under 15 minutes away. Located just over a mile south of the iconic Hood Canal floating bridge.

Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees. Ghost Salmon Cabin is a custom built studio cabin. It is a unique design, with wood floors, a vaulted wood ceiling and a large wrap around deck. The location is in the Sandy Hook neighborhood. It is not in any town but near several. Kiana Lodge is a 3 minute walk from the cabin. Two ferry terminals (Kingston/Edmonds and Bainbridge/Seattle routes) are 20 minutes away. It is centrally located near Poulsbo, Suquamish, Kingston and Bainbridge Island.
