I highly recommend Kate & Alastair’s place for anyone visiting the Highlands — especially families or groups of friends travelling together. The location is ideal — close enough to Fort William for convenience, yet far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. There are plenty of beautiful local walks right on the doorstep, as well as easy access by car to stunning hiking trails in the surrounding areas. It’s the perfect base for exploring the Isle of Skye, Argyll & Bute, Inverness, and of course, the famous Jacobite train. A fantastic stay in a truly beautiful part of Scotland. Oh and their kitch is the best for a large group.

It's a very clean and nice place that comes with complimentary drinks and snacks. The location is close to Fort William by driving. I totally recommend it.

We had a brilliant stay at Willow Cottage! Rosie was very welcoming and the cottage was beautifully clean with plenty of charm. Thank you to Rosie for the complementary biscuits, cereal and orange juice. It has a lovely view of ponies in a field with the backdrop of Ben Nevis. We stayed for a week and it has all you need for a very comfortable stay. We definitely recommend Willow Cottage.

We have had the best time at Doug and Eileens wee shack! We spontaneously booked the same day we came and they answered our message within minutes. We arrived with our 11 month old daughter and they offered an alternative matress for her and even had a wee toy for her (she loves it :) ).... Everything was so thoughtful and all the nice details - I just can't recommend their place enough!
