Vacation rentals with a balcony in Locarno

The apartment was exactly what we needed to have a wonderful stay in Locarno. We were traveling as a family with 2 young kids and a dog. The apartment had everything we needed for eating in and relaxing with a beautiful view as well as being convenient for dog walks and outings to town, mountains or lake. The Falconry is just around the corner and was a highlight of our trip. We would definitely stay in the apartment on another vacation to Locarno.

Amazing view from the apartment, very clean and spacious. You can take stairs to the lake, the path itself (about 200m) is beautiful but steep (e.g., not suitable for strollers).

The accommodation is wonderfully located (with great views of the lake) and clean. Access by public transport is well possible, but the Postautos (stop very close to the property) do not run very often. The pool is wonderfully large, nice and warm and well maintained. The kitchen equipment is very good - apart from salt, however, it has no spices (oil must also be brought along yourself). The staff is very friendly and helpful. We would book the accommodation again anytime!

we had a fantastic time. interaction with interhome and the local keyholder is never easy because communication with keyholder is not done with the airbnb app but usually with external e-mail or phone (so you communicate with interhome agent trough the app; and parallel you try to establish contact with local keyholder through other channels). check in once connection is established works well. payment of local tax is not organized and the work in order to pay it is passed on the guest - local taxes should be included in the air bnb fee.... appartement perfect. location perfect we had a wonderful spring holiday in locarno. kind regards christian

splendid! Great apartment with an amazing view! Very clean, super well equipped. The apartment is located high up, it is better to be there by car but it is the price to pay to have such a beautiful view of the lake and the city of Lugano. We had a memorable stay.

Beautiful, clean accommodation with a great view of Lake of Como. Ideal for exploring the lake from here. A car is recommended, as there is only a limited number of shopping, beaches and restaurants in Sala Comacina itself. However, the area is full of smaller and larger towns that invite you to explore. However, if you are a late riser, you should pay attention to the bell tower, which starts early in the morning about 7 o'clock with its bell game. We had a wonderful week in Sala Comacina and enjoyed exploring the lake from the apartment!

The place is great as a base for hiking, biking, walking around Colico area. Claudia, the host, is very friendly and helpful person. You have everything you need in the place. Highly recommended and we will definitely come back😁

Listing is exactly as seen on the pictures. The location is very quiet and idyllic, but the last few kilometers to the accommodation are very narrow, steep and curvy. So it takes experienced drivers and reasonably powerful cars ;) otherwise there is nothing to complain about - Anna is a very nice and easily accessible hostess for any questions.

The space is truly beautiful and peaceful. possibility to reach the lake on foot. unfortunately we couldn't test because I have a boot on my feet and the weather was not to be avoided! The accommodation is large, there are books and games in Italian. There is everything to cook and even linens/sponge and priduuts to do the dishes. We were 4 adults and 1 child. Nickel! Especially for the child, the bathroom is downstairs with the bedroom with two single beds right next door so secure. Really great, for our next stay in the area, we'll be back!

We enjoyed the accommodation very much. It is very spacious. The view from the balcony is phenomenal. Communication with Alessandra was very good. She gave us good tips. Very convenient parking in the private garage. The garage is not big, but was sufficient for our 3 Series BMW. Luino is an excellent starting point for excursions in the area on the eastern shore of Lake Maggiore. The apartment is definitely recommended. We felt comfortable. Thank you.

Fantastic place if you want to stay secluded from the hustle bustle. The only way to get around is by a rental bike or car. We had a car and we like staying a little off the grid so it was apt for us. A 4m drive down to the Caddenabia pier to take the boats to other spots on the lake and a 6m drive up north to Mennagio. There is a grocery store down by the lake as well. From the house, you have superb views of Bellagio and Verrana. The kitchen is more than equipped. Just get your groceries and you’re all set. 1 room has an attached bathroom and the other is just outside the room. The pool and the deck were amazing as well. 2 big cars can be parked on the property. The host was fantastic. Always available, even on a Sunday and always with clear instructions. Will definitely want to visit again.

We had a very nice vacation on the property. From one of the two balconies, you have a beautiful view of Lake Como. The garage, which belongs to the cottage, is brilliant. From this you can get directly into the house. In the basement there is a third bathroom with washing machine, toilet and large shower. The garden is pretty and was ideal for us and our two children. The children's room has two single beds and two small wardrobes. Failure protection is available. Within 5 minutes walking distance is a kind of small "Aunt Emma shop" as well as a pharmacy. The lake can also be reached in 5 minutes. There is no footpath in front of the house, so we took the kids by the hand or on the arm until we were downstairs. 10 minutes by car, you will find a large supermarket and a hospital. Small flaw: no screen on windows. But there are electric shutters. By bus or ferry you can get to other larger cities.
