Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Locarno

A nice set of rooms very close to everything that matters in Varenna. The accommodations were clean and Debora did a wonderful job communicating all information needed for the stay. She is very kind and friendly. The view from the roof is absolutely stunning and deserves some time during your stay with wine and snacks (weather permitting). I would stay again. A couple additional points to share: 1) All rooms are above ground level, so if someone has any mobility concerns, this might be an issue. Furthermore, there are lots of steps everywhere in Varenna. Be prepared to work your glutes. 2) It can be a bit noisy at night, so, if you are a sensitive sleeper, you should grab some ear plugs/buds to help block out noise. The church tower across the street rings all day, including night and early morning.

Silvia’s place is ideal for families. It is spacious, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything one might need. It is also exceptionally well-suited for longer stays. Communication with Silvia was excellent; she responded promptly whenever we required assistance. Moreover, her kindness was evident when she thoughtfully prepared a cake for the children. I would highly recommend her place without hesitation!

A lovely place. You will find yourself in an old Italian house, quite atmospheric. Constanza is a very nice lady! We enjoyed our stay, and liked breakfast much. The only thing to consider is that location is on a mountain, and you will have to go up and down a hill even if you have a car. It wasn’t an issue for us, but if you have little kids, or problems with knees you should think twice.

The Nest on the Lake was the loveliest little lakeside inn! The owners are extremely kind and the access to the little beach was wonderful to have. Ferry boats and bus stops within 12 min walk of the inn, which was great. Two markets close by, a few fantastic restaurants within in walking distance, and the most gorgeous views of Lake Como! We would highly recommend this place for anyone coming to Lake Como for the first or 100th time!

Villa Attica Colonia is an absolutely gorgeous property! Monica the host could not have been more accommodating. She truly was wonderful and helped us with all that we needed! She served the most lovely breakfast every morning in a little basket by the window. The view is outstanding and it makes you feel like you never wanna leave the property. It is a five star accommodation. If you are going to Lake Orta this is the best place you could possibly stay! Thank you again Monica for everything!

Marianna was so responsive before I arrived, sent me personalized photos of my particular room, and excellent photos and instructions of how to get there. Civico is in a fantastic part of town, peaceful and quiet, but easily walkable to absolutely everything. Also, her breakfasts are amazing!!! Would highly recommend.

Great & convenient place less than 4km to the airport in small village ( no real shops or food available) A light breakfast is provided. They very kindly picked me up & took me to the the airport (for a reasonable fee) we have stayed before and would stay again if flying to or from Milan. Thank you Silvana & Claudio

Even though I was only able to stay for one night at Massimo's place, I had the most wonderful time. Olcio is so beautiful and to experience it while living at Massimo's was such a blessing. Massimo was incredibly friendly and accommodating even for the brief time I was there. Such a funny and kind person. I will definitely be back to Olcio and Massimo's Casa Della Musica!

Listing perfectly as described. Bob is very responsive. The hospitality is quality. Booking the accommodation gives access to the Ticino Ticket which is a real plus to get around Ticino via the public transport network.

I had a great stay! The room was spotless, the host very kind, the views beautiful.

Unbelievable! The place was brand new and the people were more than friendly. We were welcomed by two people that shows us everything they made us feel right at home and although it was already 10 o’clock in the evening, they even offered to cook us a meal. The room was immaculate and breakfast was amazing, this place is on my Airbnb shortlist as of now.

The accommodation is ideally located, in a small quiet village, with very good restaurants, away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy towns on the lake. The ferry is 600 m away, and makes it easy to get to Bellagio. The bedding is very comfortable, the room tastefully decorated and remarkably clean.

Luca is a very kind host who made us feel at home. The dogs and cats are lovely, the view simply stunning! We had a fantastic time at Luca’s place. Thankyou !

Great place to stay on a unique property with farm animals right by the airport!

Lorenzo and Andrea are just great hosts. Availability and hospitality create a family and pleasant environment around the guesthouse. The view from the lake room is breathtaking, very clean and cozy rooms.

The place is very nice and decorated to feel good. The warm welcome from host Lilliane was very great. The host couple was also very flexible and helpful. A great place and highly recommended.
