Originally built in the 13th century, Jinks Cottage was home to the village cobbler (called Jinks), his wife and six children. Now carefully restored, it provides a spacious country retreat for four, plus your four-legged friends, as we’re very dog friendly!

The cottage has two bedrooms with crisp cotton bedlinen and luxury mattresses to ensure a good nights rest. One bedroom has a King size bed, the other has a single bed. Walk in shower in bathroom. Conveniently located just a 5 minute walk to both the picturesque Monmouthshire and Brecon canal and the Abergavenny-Brynmawr cycle track and is a great base for hill walking in the Black Mountains and the local Abergavenny 3 peaks. Walk into the market town which offers an array of top restaurants, pubs and cafes.

We are in the heart of the Clydach Gorge on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. There is a village pub open 6 days a week offering food Friday’s and Saturday’s. The market towns of Crickhowell and Abergavenny are close by. The national cycle network local to us is 46 and are are close to Bike Park Wales, Big Pit Blaenavon, and the Clydach Ironworks.

You can roam freely around our 5 acres of land/garden . We supply outside furniture and sole use of our external hot tub, please note it’s available for use all year around, a disclaimer to be signed prior to use.

The Annex Cottage - A country hideaway

Beautiful , private accommodation in part of our home with stunning views. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and a queen sized bed in the second . The bathroom has both a bath & a shower. The cosy sitting room has a log burning stove and a door to the shared garden. We provide a loaf of home made bread and marmalade plus butter, home made marmalade & jam, milk, tea and coffee. The Hall Inn pub is just 200 yards away and a short drive to Usk and Raglan and the Brecon Beacons

Wren Cottage has an open-plan ground floor with a fully equipped kitchen and two armchairs. Upstairs is a large bedroom with a king-size bed with a bath and shower, vanity unit and separate toilet. Outside is an enclosed patio and garden with patio furniture.
