Monthly Rentals in Llandecwyn

After a long drive, we arrived at the cottage in the dark at 9 p.m.. Luckily, we had good directions with pictures to help us find the house—otherwise, it might have been a bit tricky. Accessing the house with the door code was seamless. The motion-activated outdoor lighting was especially handy! We felt very comfortable from the very first moment… the great furnishings, the TV connection, the incredibly comfortable sofas, and—what we especially appreciated—the little gift! A Welsh specialty: Welsh cakes. We were especially pleased that milk was already waiting for our tea in the fridge. Our two dogs, Odette and Zilly, felt equally at home and enjoyed relaxing in front of the cozy fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen—even with sharp knives—and the immaculate cleanliness of the bedrooms, bathroom, and entire house left nothing to be desired. And if it wasn't, all we had to do was ask. The view from the terrace is indescribable… We'll definitely be back!

We had a fantastic stay at the cottage. It was just what we wanted - remote, beautiful and completely relaxing. The cottage is 3 miles off the beaten track up a mountain road which has some narrow parts, but we found it really easily and the drive up to it is simply stunning. Carys was extremely friendly and great at communicating before we arrived, and we had a really warm welcome from her. The cottage is basic but warm and cosy and extremely well-equipped with everything we could have needed. The shower is fantastic - really warm and powerful which was perfect after a long day on the mountains. The views from the cottage are wonderful. The location is fantastic - easy to get to Harlech, into the Rhinogs and up into the main bits of Snowdonia should you want to. Carys and family are so warm and friendly and we felt completely at home. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Emily's home was everything we could've asked for. The place was cosy, and spacious surrounded by views you just can't imagine are true. I already can't wait to go back. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are spacious and plenty of space downstairs to relax and play (with kids or doggos). The resident Lego box was a huge hit for our 3 year old and the large glass conservatory/extension made it the perfect place for us to enjoy the views and play at the same time. The house is completely out of the way and remote which is just what we wanted. For those with dogs just know it's completely surrounded by sheep (ours luckily isnt reactive to them but given the chance would chase them until the sun goes down). It's completely secured by a fence however if you have an escape artist it might be worth noting! Conveniently 15-30 mins drive from most large tourist areas/places if interest and most shops nearby stock the essentials.

We enjoyed our stay, it was fantastic to find a dog friendly cottage, Sarah is a great host and she has put a lot of effort into making the cottages a good place to stay. The surrounding area is also full of dog friendly places, cafes, pubs and even the steam train!
