It was a good place to stay. I am really avid cook and so could have used with bit more upscale kitchen items, but other than that it was a solid and good place to stay

Sam's place is a really amazing apartment and we had a lovely few days on the coast. We know the area quite well and have stayed in a few different places and this was definitely one of the best. the views from the living room and dining room make the place and are worth every penny. would recommend to others.

Always a lovely place to stay in a beautiful home in a lovely garden leading down to the river. A great place to stay if you like walking as the countryside is very accessible, but also in easy reach of London.

Lovely apartment right by the seaside. A few steps and you're at the beach, and from there you can walk all the way to East Head (or take a 5 min drive to the West Wittering car park). Flat is great and well furnished, with everything we needed. Note that linen is an extra cost though! Karen is very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed, fast responses and solved the one issue that came up quickly.

Overall the flat was perfect. Fabulous location. Inside was recently decorated and appliances were brand new. The bed was advertised as King size and as we come from Canada we expected it to be like our King beds whereas it is a large double. We were able to use the sofa bed though. Bottom line apart from the bed size it was as advertised. Thanks Simon and Sansan

The apartment was very conveniently located from the fast jet and had everything you could need. It was very clean, spacious and well-equipped. Would highly recommend.

This was perfect for a few days away: Easy to walk to from the bus stop at the pier and with a great outlook across the beach. Easy to walk into town to find a variety of restaurants. The flat was just as described and the kitchen and living room space would be perfect for 4 or 5 people. We had a lovely time. Thank you !

Lovely clean and comfortable apartment right by the sea and a pleasant 40 minute walk to the historic dockyard. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable for a short stay for two people, with plenty of pubs and places to eat to choose from in the nearby area, we would definitely stay there again!

I stayed in Alexandre‘s apartment with my ten year old son and we both fell in love with the place at first sight. The high ceilings, the old wooden floor, the furniture, the views - everything is beautiful. Alexandre’s taste is exceptionally good. The view into the backyard, which is full of trees, is totally soothing. While having breakfast, we spotted squirrels, birds and two foxes strolling around. Alexandre was very helpful and always replied within very short time. We also appreciated the area very much. There are some really good cafés - and the Asian restaurants on Preston Street are just amazing. My son said, he could „eat in this street for the rest of his life.“ I almost agreed. ;) Hope to come back one day! Thank you, Alexandre!

Excellent accommodation and exactly what we needed to be in the centre of Shanklin. Terry the owner was an excellent host and always contactable via email. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to the Isle of Wight.

Jo’s place was exactly as described; tidy, homely and in a great location. Unfortunately, there were roadworks outside but that was the only downside (and nothing Jo could have done about it)! A cosy top floor flat with gorgeous views of the sea, in a really central location and Jo herself was very helpful and clear with her instructions. Overall, this place was 10/10, would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Brighton.

Such a lovely place to stay! Very clean and perfect for what we needed and as a bonus our kids loved it too! Would definately stay here again when we are down visiting family

Selected Julie's place based on location, basically on the seafront. Apartment was as described with views across the sea. Julie waited for us at the property to process check-in and provide a guide of the apartment. Bedrooms and bathrooms as described and per photos, clean and spacious, with a lovely open living/dining area. No complaints, hope to stay again soon.

Firstly Johanne and John were very welcoming , everything connected to our stay was explained by John and if we had any questions etc during our stay they were easily contactable. Our little oasis of The Garden Apartment was perfect everything you could need for a relaxing stay and very comfortable.We absolutely loved our stay . Short walk into Shanklin and to the esplanade, lovely restaurants and The Crab pub very traditional with good food . Bus stops nearby to various parts of the Island .

Charlotte was a fantastic host. The bottle of bubbly on arrival was a lovely touch too. We are so lucky to have had the opportunity to stay in Charlotte's interesting and well loved home. The hot tub and roll top bath provided a great way to relax after visiting the beach and town. As artists the artwork on display made for great conversation points too. We feel inspired. Xx

Excellent host - Dean was welcoming and friendly and went out of his way to make it a lovely stay. The flat was really comfortable, well kitted out and beautifully decorated, we really enjoyed the hot tub! 2 mins walk to the sea and a lovely walk along the seafront into Brighton which took about 10 minutes. We had a great time - would happily recommend.

We had a great time here. Views are amazing . The weather was lovely so we made the most of the outdoor space and the hot tub. Great place for walking.

The place was great, can't state how beautiful the garden was in blossom season (is much more picturesque than the pictures show). Pete was a great host, thorough communication and all very straightforward. Jacuzzi and sauna were the main reasons we booked and they were both great, definitely worth it! The place could perhaps benefit from a little upkeep (feels quite well-used!) but nothing major at all. Would overall definitely recommend!

We loved staying at Little Gem in Shanklin. The flat is beautiful and comfortable. It has a lovely Georgian window with window seat and it is perfectly located for exploring the coast.

We stayed for a long weekend in this lovely accommodation. Everything was perfect, clean, and the amenities were so lovely. The kids loved the pool which was definitely a highlight. David was around to answer questions and any questions we had were replied to very quickly when they were not on site. We had such a lovely time and will definitely be returning!

Absolutely loved our stay, the kitchen has everything you need in it, and its so convenient being inside the hotel. You can be walking on the beach in 2 mins from leaving, and have access to the pool too. The living room and bedroom are at opposites ends so you can watch TV while the baby is asleep, it really feels like a little home away from home. We go to Brighton often and have been looking for our favourite place - we might just have found it!
