Wagtail Cottage - 2 Bed, 1 Bath, Garden & Parking

Marie EliseRating, 5 stars5 days ago
I can only echo previous reviews - wagtail cottage is an absolute gem! We were very lucky with the weather and made the most of the garden - spending hours looking out for the ducklings, fish, swan and kingfisher. The wifi is strong enough to work remotely and I even managed to join a video call from the garden! The description says that the garden is a bit offset from the house but it is really just a few meters away, nothing more. And if the weather gets a bit cold you can still enjoy looking out to the river from the summer house. I really hope we get to visit again!

The Old Smithy by Big Skies Cottages

AnnaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Lovely place in a gorgeous location in Great Walsingham. Country walk to Little Walsingham, the extraordinary Farm shop there, pubs etc. Excellently placed for Wells, Holkham etc. The barn is cosy but didn’t feel cramped. Lots of amenities. And comfortable beds. Our family of three were very well catered for. The cookies and elderflower presse were welcome gifts. Only caveats- very tall people will have to watch themselves in upstairs bathrooms as the sloping roof led to occasional bumped heads! The shower unit was quite low pressure. Apart for these minor issues, the barn is a lovely spot for a getaway.

North Norfolk House nr Wells next the Sea beach

JanetRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We have just returned from a lovely few days in Orchard House. The house was perfect for us (4 adults), very clean on arrival, comfortable sitting room and very comfortable beds and bedrooms. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything needed to cook a good meal. However so many lovely restaurants and pubs nearby, we didn’t use the kitchen too much!! As the weather was perfect we spent some lovely afternoons sitting on the provided sun loungers, in the pretty and peaceful garden. Communication with Rob was excellent which also made everything simple on arrival. A lovely stay and certainly hope to return.

Charming, Unique Rustic 18 century Cottage

Matthew & JuliaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great week at the Roundhouse. It’s in a beautiful peaceful location complete with a ruined, rook filled church. Fields full of hares and skies full of birds. Fiona was very communicative and helpful. If you’ve got dogs then the fenced garden is a real bonus. It’s pretty close to North Norfolk’s main attractions, but if the weather is good you might just want to hang out in the garden. We’d love to return.

The Walled Garden at Thursford Castle

We stayed at Sally’s beautiful place for our mini-moon, Sally organised flowers, chocolate and champagne as a surprise for my wife on arrival, and helped us with renting bikes for a bike ride through the local area. The place was spotless and we loved every minute of it. Definitely one to remember, thank you Sally!

Chapel Piece Norfolk self-contained studio

JacquieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I really can’t praise this place highly enough - it a perfect place to spend some time in North Norfolk. Ally and Sandy were incredibly kind and friendly and the facilities were fantastic, especially for what you pay. Of particular note: the most beautiful cottage garden which you are free to use; a very comfortable bed and high quality furnishings; an impressive selection of books; amazing breakfast materials provided and replenished daily; and cuddles from the very cute Kizzy the cat - but I did ask to meet her so don’t worry if you’re not a cat lover. I think the key points of this place, however, are the care, the kindness and the attention to detail which make it genuinely outstanding.
