Excellent hosting, even though we arrived late. Very pleasant hosts. The apartment was clean, spacious and very nice with private courtyard for the car and independent access. I recommend it.

Very good stay in a very functional apartment and close to the city center. We were able to fully enjoy the comic book festival. I highly recommend this apartment.

We had a lovely weekend at Etienne's! We were three families and everyone had their own space while sharing very nice and bright living rooms! The accommodation is very central while remaining quiet because it is well insulated. We recommend it!!

Short stay at Gérard and Roselyne's, very welcoming and friendly people as are all the people I know in this corner of Charente. Beautiful apartment, very clean, quiet and comfortable. We'll save the address for a future visit.

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

Amazing accommodation. Very nice house. Just like the photos. We found parking for the car right where it was indicated to us. Too bad we were just passing through on a long trip. Since it is interesting to stay in this house to visit everything nearby, including Cognac. We will definitely be back.
