Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lincoln County

This place blew our mind! We went as a family with kids and loved everything about the house. So many fun things like kayaks, paddle boards, outdoor games, etc. We loved it so much we tried to stay an extra night. We've stayed in a bunch of rentals and this is our #1 favorite of all time. Highly recommend! Comfortable, quiet, fun, beds great, plenty of sitting room, fun outdoor areas. Will stay here again.

This lake house was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a true escape. The house had everything we needed for a perfect family getaway—cozy, clean, and so thoughtfully stocked. But what really stole our hearts was the view. Watching the sun set over the water each evening, wrapped in a blanket with nothing but the sound of the lake and laughter in the background, was pure magic. We made beautiful memories here and can’t wait to come back. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us. Highly recommended, we will be back! We also used Lake Effects for our boat rental, they were fantastic! It’s about an 18 minute trip back to the house on the water.

Perfect spot on Lake Norman with everything you need inside the house. McKenna was a great host and would recommend the place to anyone!

Rented the trabin for a long weekend getaway to celebrate my son's birthday. The house is cute and pretty perfect for a family. The master bedroom bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever had in an Airbnb. The porch was perfect to spend evenings with friends, and the dock and little beach was private and peaceful!! We will definitely rent again

We had a delightful stay. Check-in was flawless. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, and the kitchen well stocked. The house is well located with restaurants and grocery stores all within a 10 minute drive. We recommend!

This was a beautiful place to stay on the lake! They have everything you could need or possibly think of! Very clean and responsive host!

Robin’s home exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The place was stocked well, clean, inviting and very comfortable. Robin gave clear instructions and also listed several great places to eat. She was responsive each time I had questions. We had easy access to local eateries and to Charlotte. I give this place a ten out of ten. We will definitely stay at Robin’s again the next time we visit Charlotte.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Beautiful setting, huge trees, nice house, lots of toys and great weather. Really enjoyed the whole house music system and the oldies radio station out of Charlotte!

Very private and quiet stay in a nice neighborhood. Pretty spacious for a 1 bedroom apartment with nice work desk area. Recommend getting a rental car to get around but, it’s relatively close to downtown Charlotte and shopping malls.

Loch Norm Lair is beautiful and relaxing. Great neighborhood. Just the peaceful week we needed. Rick and Judy are extremely friendly. Rick loves to share his boat and will take you for a ride. We sat and talked with them on several occasions and shared a dinner at a restaurant. The place is well cared for and a great deal, very reasonable pricing. It was a shame the sailboat wasn't working, would have loved a ride. We are already talking about a return trip in warmer weather to fully enjoy the water. Thank you so much for the beautiful week. Michael's place was quiet and comfy. Very friendly and helpful when we had anything that we needed. The pool table was a fun amenity.

Had a great stay in Davidson, while visiting family and this was a perfect spot to land! Heard some live music by Rusty Knox, Davidson’s mayor & enjoyed a great crab cake sandwich! Mike’s place was quiet, clean and a good place to do some remote work. Would come back again!

everything was exactly as described! easy to check in, easy to find and very clean and comfortable. it was in a very private place. super cute on the inside, too!

Great place beautiful property

Cathy’s place was walkable to everything in Davidson it was lovely and clean and there was 4 adults in our family there was plenty of room and the decking area was a lovely area to sit outside and also if we needed anything Cathy responded very quickly would highly recommended

The condo is delightful. Beautiful views, spacious, well stocked, very clean Katie responded promptly to our questions regarding the internet and TV. We'll rent this lovely place again.

Kim's home was amazing! Fully stocked, very clean, and felt just like home. Kim was also very responsive and accommodating. I look forward to staying here again when visiting Davidson.

One of the best decisions we made on a recent trip to NC was staying for 3 nights at Desiree’s lakefront condo in Davidson. Located on an inlet of beautiful Lake Norman this 2-bedroom rental exceeded our expectations. Curbside parking and ground-level access made entering and exiting the property quick and easy. And the 2-bedroom arrangement allowed us to put our 4-year old granddaughter to bed early while we stayed up to take in the view of the harbor or watch our favorite shows on the large-screen TV in our bedroom. We also enjoyed eating breakfast on the back porch and cooling off in the nearby pool. We did not have the time to enjoy all of the amenities the rental offered, but we made good use of the kitchen (with dishwasher and utensils) and the washer-dryer. Desiree’s lakefront property was a wise investment and contributed significantly to our enjoyment during our stay. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone seeking a quiet, private, and relaxing retreat!

We loved the animals!!! So friendly and cute, they would come to the fence to greet us! The house was so cute and clean, and the scenery is just beautiful. We would love to come back. Thank you Lacy for greeting us and making us feel comfortable!

The pictures don’t do it justice. It was absolutely beautiful. Had a great little balcony that you could sit out at with little tables. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses, pot, pans, and utensils. Plenty of fresh linens ,super comfortable beds and the decor was beautiful.

Eli's place was just what we were looking for. Simple, free of clutter and in a safe neighborhood. Parks we're close so that was nice with kids.

So enjoyed our stay here. Home was clean, had everything we needed. Such a great location, easy walk to restaurants, grocery store, great coffee shop on the corner. Host was super easy to communicate with and responded quickly to questions. Would definitely stay here again!

This beautiful condo is at the top of my list of beautiful places to stay! We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, great location and waterfront view of the lake! Truly everything it advertises and more!! Would love to go back for a longer stay!
