Waterfront vacation rentals in Limousin

Emmanuelle was very communicative before we arrived and during our stay. The yard and view of the river were very nice and the stroll to the bi-weekly market and restaurants were very easy. Overall, Le Bugue is a great jumping off point for the French countryside of the Perigord, but many storefronts of the village appeared vacant.

Anais is very pleasant and responsive. The accommodation is superb and well located.

Nice and clean place to stay.

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the place so much. The grounds and garden are amazing, spent a lot of time in the river with the dogs. The apartment had everything you need. Sheena and her husband so kind and friendly. Hope to be back again.

We had a pleasant stay in Bretonnes. The listing matches the description perfectly. The cottage is charming, the scenery is beautiful and the welcome from Denise and Claude is cordial and warm.

Very welcoming accommodation, very well decorated and very pretty. Cleanliness, impeccable, useful equipment provided, no complaints. The space is well arranged, only less convenient point is the shower is small. We enjoyed the self check-in and check-out and the touches made available for only one night.

Ideal place for a family vacation, the setting is wonderful, everything is very well maintained, whether it's the manor, the mill or the park. There are many toys and games for children, the activities offered can also entertain adults (ping-pong, foosball, trampoline, swimming pool, petanque, etc.) In this ideal setting you can also isolate yourself to read, paint, or simply rest as there is so much space. We had a wonderful weekend that delighted the grandparents, parents and small children who are already talking about next year. We thank Marie and Pierrick very much who hosted us very well, and whose main concern must be the well-being of their visitors, in any case, that's what we felt. Great welcome, Sébastien is a considerate host and offers very good advice. The site is perfect, its pool is superb with exceptional views of a very beautiful waterfall. I highly recommend this cottage.

Thanks to Michiel and her partner for a great welcome. They wanted to welcome us as we arrived late. They even took the time to explain a few things to us. They are welcoming and responsive hosts. The accommodation is very spacious, and well laid out with everything you need. There is also a large private garden. We had a very good night there. Thank you again

This is a delightful property to stay in with fantastic garden and a lovely large pool area. Even in height of summer the apartment is cool inside and there is lots of garden seating & outdoor eating areas. Our teenagers adored the pool and easy access to the beautiful Dordogne river for impromptu paddle-boarding! The location is literally a few minutes walk to 2 fantastic family-friendly river-side restaurants and Pessac’s local shop. Cat was a super helpful host and lives in the adjoining property with her family, so is always on hand if needed. She will be also be offering retreats in 2025 - I can’t imagine a better location for one. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a great time. Patrice is very attentive . Great apartment with beautiful lake views and it is very functional . Very family-friendly resort! Hiking, skiing , bar, restaurant, bakery, local products... We put our bags down and enjoy!

Carolyn’s gite was a find, very well equipped, the views are breathtaking and Carolyn and Paul were very accommodating and friendly. We were fortunate enough to stay during the towns medieval Festival where we enjoyed the fireworks over the bridge. Another plus was the beautiful dogs they own!
