Wonderful house. The animals on the property are awesome. Meg was a helpful and friendly host. The place is as pictured and described. Fantastic place for jungle immersion, but be ready for all that entails (some bugs and noises). Cocles is a super lively and fun beach and worth a visit. It’s a better place to stay than directly in Puerto Viejo. The house is up a hill a little bit so transport of sorts is recommended.

This is an excellent stay as it offers lots of comfort, impeccable cleaning and a convenient location. Your room is cozy, well equipped and with details that ensure a pleasant stay. Sebastián gives a very pleasant experience to his guests. Highly recommended if you want to visit the Caribbean.

Great location! A few steps from the beach. 7 minutes away from Puerto Viejo by car. Nice spacious place with a comfortable outdoor seating area.

very nice and spacious apartment with private entrance on the upper floor of the house. Super equipped and very clean. Balcony, hot water in shower and kitchen, mosquito nets and fans in the bedrooms. We felt very comfortable. The house sits on the edge of the forest and you can sometimes watch monkeys. Pablo was quick to respond and provide us with information about the buses. The bus station is 200m away and is called "Plaza Viquez". The buses run several times a day, but car is recommended. The beach is a 15-minute walk, Cahuita can be reached in about 30 minutes. The bikes were not available yet, but Pablo will certainly provide them soon. Very nice place to explore the Caribbean coast from.

Our stay was delightful and made easy by Bethany and Joaquin, who were extremely responsive and very nice to us (thanks again for the grill!). The place is clean, very well equipped and located 10 minutes from the beach walking, 5 minutes cycling. I would definitely stay again here.

We loved the place, especially the outdoor kitchen and privacy. If you like it private, this is the place to be. It is about 4 minutes by car from the main road. But for us, it was perfect to escape the hustle and bustle of the area in the evening or so.

Lovely space you can see monkeys and sloths from the room, super cool one of the walls completely opens up it was a perfect jungle experience with HOT water! Has everything you need I cooked myself food one night. Family is on location so sounds of children playing is possible. They have a friendly cat that was a nice touch.

very friendly place, super clear instructions, at no time we saw the host but it was not necessary at least since all instructions were simple and accurate, the only thing parking is outside, next to the street in case they are mobilized, we rent a motorcycle so we were a little on the slope all the time and we get overheated one day for being in the sun, but within the whole sector it was quiet so no problem. Being on the bank of calle (litaral ves los autos pass from the bed) you can hear the noise of vehicles a little but not until very late, nor from so early. Inside all or orecomendo or would go again!

Dania's apartment was exactly as the photos uploaded, very clean and organized. The amenities are a huge plus, the outdoor space is great! Downtown and the best beaches are a bit far but we found some workarounds. She was always quick to respond and willing to help our group with our requests for appliances or additional stuff. Def recommend her as a host and the property

We recommend the place as it has an excellent location, however there are several things to recommend: the pool needs maintenance and a paint job. The main gate is difficult to open and has significant damage that can cause insecurity. The main door to the upper floor has difficulty being closed and opened (it is not very certain that it will work). We rented the top with a 4-year-old boy and the railings are unsafe for any child, as an accident can easily occur. The place was clean, with sufficient water and gas supply. We never had any electrical problems.

A very comfortable place to be, as described, includes breakfast and the food was always very good, it is close to a beach breakfast.

Tanya and Arrie are really great hosters, their place has everything you need to a pleasent stay, they thought about every detail to make us feel at home. They wait for us when we arrived with snacks, fresh bread, eggs and more, they gave us very good recomendations for every question, they equip the place perfectly (beach bag, umbrellas, toiletries, and more) and all of this always with a big smile and a positive attitude. The place is perfect for whom that want a good base for explore the south caribean area (you must have a car), safe, with good parking, easy to drive to Cahuita and Puerto Viejo. We highly recommend Tanya and Arrie's place.

A very quiet place. It was very clean, tidy and nice to look at. I think the aesthetics were excellent and the kitchen was very well-equipped. We only needed a microwave to make it a better experience, but overall we were very satisfied.

Great stay! The house is super cute and clean. I loved the location - it is quiet and peaeful, but very quick to get to the main road and into town. The hosts were truly incredible, any questions or concerns that I had, they immediately resolved.

I don’t even know where to begin; I’m so in love 🩷 Mercedes is a 100/100 host! Her apartment is stunning! It is spacious, immaculately clean and located near the most delicious restaurants with only a 5 minute walk to the beautiful Playa Negra. I have had the oppertunity to see iguanas, tucans, beautiful birds and butterflies just feet away from the balcony. Supermarkets are near and the neighborhood is friendly. Mercedes is a pleasure and she takes care of any issues that may occur quickly. I cannot recommend this space enough. It will quickly become your home away from home and you will never want to leave 🥰

Jacky was always very friendly and attentive, the place is very nice, safe, quiet and private. I recommend this place and would definitely return with my family, it is one of the few places with a pool and air conditioning in the area, very conveniently located
