This small house is perfect for couples. It is also possible to accommodate a child with a maximum height of 1.40m. There are no stairs or other architectural barriers. Each house is independent and equipped with every comfort. In the large 1,000-square-meter garden, there is a 12x6 in-ground marble swimming pool with whirlpool and adjacent hot shower, a barbecue area with gazebo, and parking. You can take walks in the woods along the stream and pick seasonal fruits and vegetables from the garden. Our house is adjacent to the three apartments we rent. So our guests can express any need and ask us for advice on what our area offers. The hill on which Podere San Bartolomeo stands offers peace, silence and contact with nature that perhaps those who live in the city may have lost. By car. Nearest airport Florence 32 km away. Panzano is halfway between Florence and Siena, easily reached with car. By bus there is a good service from and to Florence, not from and to Siena. A very quiet spot!

Carlo and Elena are the sweetest couple and their welcome was so warm and friendly, it made us feel right at home!! There are extra touches like a few things to eat and drink that make a big difference too in feeling home right away. They’re also very reactive and helpful if you need them! The place is beautiful, very thoughtfully decorated and we loved being close to Florence but not in it!! We recommend 100% to stay there after staying for an entire week!

We loved our stay at Palazzina Maresa and wish we stayed longer than two days! Eugenio was an incredible host and met us upon arrival. He explained the history of the space and provided incredible recommendations for Florence. The space is absolutely beautiful, inspiring, and we loved the garden terrace in the backyard. We will definitely stay in one of his properties again when we revisit Florence!
