Three large windows give a nice view over the Roomolenstraat. The size of the luxurious studio is 26m² including private kitchen, shower and toilet. Private roof terrace of 10m² at the backside enclosed by the neighbor buildings. The place is very warm and personal, perfectly suited for a single traveler or couple to retreat as well as to discover Amsterdam.

You enter the spacious entrance hall with table and coffee / tea supplies; with a private bathroom, separate toilet and a cozy bedroom / living room. Renovated with natural stone and wood. This house and this area are very photogenic.

Bryan was a great host! He was super friendly and welcoming, and gave easy to follow instructions. The location was perfect. So many good restaurants and shops walkable AND Bryan rents bikes which made it even easier to get around. The room was beautiful, a little small so if you have large bags be prepared to unpack a little to make room for yourselves. Overall had a great time. Would highly recommend checking out this listing. Thanks Bryan!

Amazing stay with my husband and baby. Lovely host and facilitated an early check in which was lovely! Amazing location and is approx 10-15 minute walk from central Amsterdam, plus downstairs is an array of shops and cafes. I would highly recommend this beautiful spot, so much history, and the rooftop is just amazing. We spent both afternoons there relaxing and enjoying the view. If you have mobility issues perhaps may not be appropriate given the flight of stairs to walk up - BUT - as a young family we loved to be able to experience a ‘real Amsterdam house’ - so cool!!!!

We can't say enough about Willem and his room. He greeted us as if we had always known each other. Carried our bags, gave us a cup of coffee while explaining the area and answered all of our questions. The rooms are immaculate and everything that you would want to see is in walking distance. Having the bus nearby for the airport was great too. Willem and Veronica have to be the most helpful and friendly hosts we have ever experienced!

Tjakko’s apartment is in an amazing location for shopping and dining. Tjakko was a wonderful host and very responsive, we were able to check in hours earlier than expected. He even left us treats upon arrival! Would definitely stay at Tjakko’s place again, highly recommend.
