If you are interested in local food and wines, we can give you some advice on nearby shops and farms. Larger supermarket open 7/7 less than 10 mins away (on foot). The town's castle (on the Prosecco Hills) is a 20 mins walk away. We live close by, we speak Italian but out sons help us welcome foreign guests.

It is just five minutes away the motorway although you can not see or hear it. For those who like shopping the Outlet Centre can be reached in less then 10 minutes. Futhermore you will have the opportunity to try the great variety of restaurants in the area. Chiarano is a small town but with all that you need and more.

The house is divided into two apartments - the Blue apartment is on the ground floor with a private garden. This part of Lignano is very popular because the houses are located within walking distance from the beach, near the house there is a supermarket, a restaurant, an ice cream, a bakery, a bicycle rental and an electric car charger.

Zattere English Cottage close to Guggenheim

This apartment looks like an English cottage is in the middle of the historic center but sheltered from the crowd: the previous owners were two English University professors who loved Venice and came here to write. When we saw it it seemed simply perfect for just 3 nights or a longer stay: the kitchen is fully equipped, the living area is comfortable and with a real fireplace , the bedroom is very large and the large bathroom is perfect for relaxing at the end of the day!
