The cabin has a modern standard and can offer a quiet atmosphere with Skogshorn as a view, large and nice terrace outside and fire pit. You can take a lovely bath in the bathtub, fire in the fireplace or take a quiet relaxing day with a book in bed. There are many hiking opportunities at Golsfjellet both winter and summer, ski slopes and nice bike paths. It takes about 25 minutes to Hemsedal with Norway's largest alpine resort, restaurants and High and Low climbing park. The nearest grocery store is Joker Robru about 10 minutes from the cabin.

Cabin at 800 meters above sea level in the mountain village of Vats, Ål municipality. Great views over the village and mountains. Hiking and fishing terrain easily accessible; a large network of ski slopes, bicycle and hiking trails. It is just 6 km up to the high mountains in Skarvheimen where you can see Reineskarvet and Hallingskarvet. The cabin is located on its own and there is a road all the way to it. Cross country tracks and alpine trails practically just behind the cabin offering panoramic view of the mountain peaks a few kilometers away. If you fancy downhill skiing, within ten to sixty minutes drive you have access to Ål skicenter, Skarslia ski center, Geilo ski center, Hemsedal ski center, Skagahøgdi skicenter (Gol) and Hallingskarvet ski center. Our cabin was renovated and rebuilt in the fall of 2022 and we could warmly welcome you and your travel companions! The cabin contains three bedrooms with double beds in addition to the loft/loft with double sofa bed. Large bathroom with washer/dryer and well equipped Kitchen. In the loft there is a TV that is connected to broadband, so you can stream what you want to see. Large porch with outdoor furniture and fire pit. Possibility to charge EV.

Cozy little cabin with crosscountry slopes right from the cabin. Only 5 km from Hemsedal ski center. The sanitary is in a building ca 15m away (shower and toilet). 6 beds (1 sofa bed, 1 double bed 2 other beds). Recommended for 4 persons. There is no tap water in the cabin, but there is a sink, and it is possible to use buckets with water. Electric radiator, kettle, oven and refrigerator, coffee maker.
