The Carriage House

Our vacation rental is located on ten secluded and wooded acres on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula, surrounded by lakes, hiking trails,and gorgeous sunsets on the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Our guesthouse is named The Carriage House as it sits above a three-car garage. The rental has a full kitchen and bath, with a wood burning stove in the living area. It is a quiet, peaceful and great place to relax. Enjoy our quiet yet close location, listening to the wind in the trees, not traffic going by.

Interior is paneled in refurbished original combed cedar with a vaulted ceiling in the living room, fir floors and hand-made rugs. Also available for rent are our adjacent studio cottage and our 2-bedroom beach cabin, located on the far side of the studio. All 3 cabins are located right next to each other, right on the beach. The covered deck is a perfect place to enjoy the views with a relaxing seating area & propane BBQ grill. Or gather on the patio around the fire table, surrounded by nature and a sky full of stars. Shooting stars are a frequent sight in late summer.

Relax at this peaceful beach getaway. Bring your paddle boards and head down the stairs to the water, or just enjoy the beautiful hood canal views from our deck. Under 10 miles north of Hama Hama, where you can pick up fresh local seafood and enjoy great cuisine. Close by to Lena Lake, Murhut Falls, Olympic National Park, Rocky Brook Falls, and many other attractions on the Hood Canal. We have three kayaks available (two single, one double) for guest use.
