Olav the Holy lived for 6 days on the Listad in 1021 to prepare a meeting with Dale-Gudbrand during the Christianization of Norway. Water in the tap is from "Olavskilden". The farmhouse is located in the middle of Gudbrandsdalen, midway between Oslo and Trondheim. Nearest neighbor is Sør-Fron Church (Gudbrandsdals Cathedral). Brand new apartment about 2 km from Lom center. It is idyllically located in a farm with a nice outdoor area. There are many hiking opportunities nearby. Everything from trips straight out from the residence and longer hikes such as Galdhøpiggen and Besseggen, Jotunheimen, Reinheimen and Breheimen National Park with many great mountains. For those who want to ski there is access to the "ski show" ski shed to take care of the skis. There is a garden and lawn around on all sides and it is fine to walk down to the centre of Lom.

The house is suitable both for adults and families with children. If you come to us, you can say hello to our 20 gentle alaska huskies. If we have available, you can book a sledding trip. We tailor short or long trips. Drive your own dog sledding! From us, there is a short way to the mountain. It is 5 minutes to the grocery store.
