My wife and I came to Tassie for our honeymoon, and The River Studio was the perfect spot to stay in while we explored the Launceston area. Quiet, peaceful, private and tranquil, it was absolutely beautiful in every regard. The scenery was dreamy, and the atmosphere of the studio was welcoming and cosy, (not to mention the pristine cleanliness!) The presence of the pademelon wallabies was also a highlight for us🦘 Sarah and Phil, our hosts, were among the lovliest people we've ever met. We had great conversations upon checking in and checking out. They made sure we had everything we needed, and ensured us we could reach out for anything at all. We felt right at home. I highly recommend booking The River Studio, no matter how long you're staying in the area. 11/10, and we will definitely be back some day!

What a fabulous location and house. Beautiful views across the Tamar with perfect sunsets and a deck to enjoy it all from with a glass of wine.

Jenn is a terrific host. Good communication, Jenn replies quickly. Lots of useful information about the local area provided and self service arrival. The property was lovely, very clean, everything you need there. Hope you arrive during daylight hours, it’s a bit of a “Wow” moment as you step in the front door, with beautiful views out the windows. Very enjoyable outlook to relax by. Woolworths at Legana is only a short drive away. Some traffic noise might be heard. We would recommended staying here.

The cottage was very clean and had everything and more you would need for a comfortable stay. There was ample cooking utensils if you want to self cater. Kym gave lots of information about things to see and do in the area. We especially loved the beautiful autumn colour in the garden. Thanks Kym.
