Claire and Tom are friendly helpful hosts and their place was the perfect base for the phase one of a work project we were completing locally. We hope to be back for the next phase.

Amazing space with well kept garden. We were blessed with good weather to enjoy the peaceful and beautiful surroundings; birds chirping and nearby horses neighing and our dog panting after running about, freely & off leash! The potting shed itself is a cosy rustic place, with just the amneties you need and lots of character such as exposed brick walls, old cake box for shoe rack, well used log fire and a quaint little bathroom & shower. The minimal space inside and exquisite space outside is perfect to slow down and start enjoying the little things in life again.

A fantastic spot in a tiny quaint village, Francesca’s place was exactly what I was looking for. As a solo female traveller I felt safe next door to their stunning family home, yet the flat was entirely private with its own entrance. It was the perfect base for visiting all the local sights: Walking The Ridgeway, Wayland’s Smithy and White Horse Hill, National Trust properties such as Basildon Park and a little further afield, The Vyne or of course Oxford not that far away either. The area has so many incredibly beautiful little historical villages with heaps of Regency Georgian charm, so lots to explore if you like a drive. Everything about the flat was ideal and well appointed. The fresh milk, tea and coffee were much appreciated. Very comfy bed with quality linen & thick, fluffy (yet crucially absorbent!) towels. Francesca was a helpful, gracious host with quite possibly the nicest handwriting I’ve ever seen! Wish I could have stayed longer! Will be recommending to others!
