L’hiver, la proximité avec la station des Estables permet de pratiquer le ski de fond, la raquette et le ski alpin.

On accède à ce nid par une échelle il faut donc être à l'aise pour ce genre d'exercice. Ce nid a une forme ronde d'un diamètre de 2 mètres et une hauteur de 1 mètre on peut s'asseoir et dormir très facilement à deux.
