Bright and very quiet COCON

Located in one of the oldest shopping streets in Rouen where several artisans and artists are active, and in a fully renovated historic building, the accommodation has been refurbished. A truly privileged setting close to the city center Initially, nothing suggests that by pushing the massive carriage door of 153 Rue Beauvoisine, the visitor will find themselves in a vast space completely disconnected from the street, a true haven of peace and tranquility. It is not for nothing that the residence directly adjoins the Convent of the Visitation -1630- (Museum of Antiquities). Then, walking through the alleys of the inner courtyard of the residence, the traveler ends up at the entrance hall of block C and goes to the first floor where apartment 17 is located. Upon entering the apartment, two of our senses are immediately struck: the calm and the brightness. The accommodation overlooks a garden terrace directly adjacent to the convent. With this apartment, you can't dream better than to go and discover Rouen and then come back to rest. In the accommodation you will have a large two-seater sofa bed and I will provide you with a set of breakfast foods as well as some other bathroom accessories. The property is accessible in its entirety and you will feel good there. The number is no longer displayed, so I'll give you some details about its location for ease... The building is located just next to the well-known BAR L'EMPORIUM with its red storefront, on the left sidewalk going up the street and in front of a cooking workshop with a pink window. I will wait for you there each time to open the large contemporary door in very light wood. There will be 2 access doors with codes. I will give you the numbers as soon as you arrive. Apartment as advertised, quiet, very comfortable bedding, spacious bathroom, separate toilet, large living room/dining room/kitchen very well equipped. We had a very nice stay at Cristina's who was a very attentive and responsive host. All the amenities, the pool and the bus to Rouen are a stone's throw away, what more could you ask for? We'll be back!

Superb accommodation especially with acceptance of a pet but difficult with an old dog (German pointer) because of the spiral staircase. Max and his wife are very nice people. I would recommend it.

I would recommend this place for a long stay. The proximity to the residents is very pleasant, all the staff of the residence go in 4 to bring you satisfaction. You have to live in this environment to bring joy, listening and sympathy and remember that you are not the "priority", you are welcomed with generosity! The residents' meeting is rewarding. El Beuf is not a city of action and excitement. It a city of diverse culture and deep history. Everything is within walking distance and the location provided a great cross breeze to keep me and my family cool inside the home. My host was responsive and even attempted to resolve my internet issues (as I work remotely). Although we did not get it fully resolved, it means a lot that my host made the attempt. The unit is at the center of town, so as a disclaimer: There are pigeons, but they won't bother you if you don't bother them 😁. I recommend this place with 5 stars, and would rent again.

On colder days being able to run the heaters was nice and being able to open the windows on warmer days for a breeze. Overall, really enjoyed the space and the beds were extremely comfortable.
